Families: escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, if you're looking for wholesome, outdoor, family friendly fun day then look no further than the Kite Festival on 14th of January at Blacktown Showground. A fantastic day for the whole family with the most spectacular kites ever seen over the skies of Western Sydney.

Don't look up high too long or you'll miss the action on the ground: there will be fun on the ground with widest variety of food stalls and market stalls, Kite stalls, Live DJ, Jumping castle, Kids rides and lots of entertainment. Come along with your family and friends, enjoy relaxing family day and let all stress fly away(Kites and strings to buy on the ground only). If you are not expert at flying kites, do not worry, bring your comfortable seats and enjoy the view of colorful sky, food and music.
