that's because Brunei->London can't be done on a single tank of fuel
from memory, the times landing are pretty crappy too potentially (I seem to remember landing at 7am local time in London, which made jetlag a bitch)
the connection times are alright (around 2 hours in Brunei, and then 30mins->1 hour tops for refuelling in Dubai [which literally gives you time to eat a Maccas before reboarding])
the airline is reasonable too (I seem to remember that prices are generally a bit cheaper than Emirates/Singapore), although do remember that it's a 'dry' flight
Brunei Airport: Can hold around 4 planes at once, and it's literally just a departure lounge (there's 2 places for non-snack food)
I actually booked on byojet about a week ago same price. But I had used groupon33 code to take another 33 off to bring it down to $908 in total. Sharp price for return tickets during European summer season.
RB flies a dreamliner and the food was semi decent. They are not a part of any airline rewards program though.
Good deal. Found Royal Brunei to be a great airline when I flew with them to Malaysia.
