  • Got one of these for my Dad for $140 during a 20% off eBay sale mid-2017 however not enough left at the time to post as separate deal. Great little machine but as usual be prepared to get slugged for toner.

    • Does it have fax capability?

      • +1

        Fax… nope, I'm pretty sure it didn't.

      • Lol, fax needs to go the way of the telegram.

        • U'd be surprised that business are still operating with fax, especially in the law sector. Fax might go away in 20 years time maybe.

          @Volution:
I could be wrong, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that it was because facsimiles are legally acceptable whereas other forms of electronic reproduction are not?

        • @tebbybabes:

Admittedly I only had a quick browse over this, and I understand it deals with the content matter of an email, rather than an attachment, but this suggests an email can form a legally binding contract. I would assume attachments would be a logical next step.

    • Initially looks like a good deal, but each toner replacement is really expensive. $60 each cartridge. Refills non-existent here in Australia. ( Or couldn't find any). Ouch..

  • P5OZZIE Code worked for me; total $184.41

    • +2

Is that price before the 15% discount?

    • I hope you didn't pull the trigger with that price. It's cheaper without the code.

      • I’m not getting the 15% discount at the checkout. I have contacted seller.

        • Are you signed in? Try again soon. They are selling out fast!!

        • @Jase2801:
          Yes signed in.

        • @rammaoz: That is really odd. Just tried it again and it worked.

        • @Jase2801:

Warehouse1 have got back to me with the following:

New message from: warehouse_1_online Top Rated Seller(6,753Green Star)
          Hi,

Sorry about the late reply, I was looking into this and can see the printer purchased is not part of the eligible products listed in the promotion we have there which is why there is no discount applied.

          Regards,

        • @rammaoz: I am pretty sure it was listed as part of 15% off. When I clicked on the list it was showing as part of the list at the time.

        • @Jase2801:
I sent a screen grab of the 15% off this item on the listing
          And the response;

          Hi,

I can see that and the message seems to appear on many of our products that aren't eligible as part of the promotion, we aren't sure why that is as it's all done by Ebay directly.

In this case you could speak with Ebay directly to enquire if a 15% discount can be applied to this and they may be able to arrange that for you, however I've double checked this one and it certainly isn't and hasn't been part of the list we have a discount on right now.

        • @rammaoz: Wow! I wonder if they will cancel my/our orders now? Why would ebay interfere with their listings. Sounds strange to me.

    • +1

I got $156.75 with code applied?

      • Phew, good to know cheers.

        • +1

15% off doesn’t show until checkout then use P5OZZIE for a further $8 off the $165 price

  • how much does the toner and ink cost for this? Are there cheap refill that I can get?

    Thanks

    • +2

Toner for most laser printers is not cheap - think between $60 and $80 per colour (black plus 3 needed) but you do get about 2,500 pages from that. That is a lot of printing. The other cost will be a new drum at some point - not cheap either.

I think it comes with enough toner for about 1,400 pages.

The beauty of this is that laser toner lasts for years - buy a cheap ink jet and watch the ink dry out if you don’t use it and chew holes in your pocket if you do use it.

I have a Xerox laser with 2,500 page toner cartridges and it has lasted for more than four years…. and the toner is still in good condition.

  • Does this do duplex scanning automatically?

    • I was looking to buy this printer. The only thing that I didn't like was that the auto document feeder doesn't do duplex. At least that's what I could work out from the info online.

It's $159.81 delivered on their site (in case the price isn't reduced on their eBay page for some of you): http://www.warehouse1.com.au/epages/shop.sf/?ObjectPath=/Sho…

    Edit: Sold out on eBay.

    • No it's not you got that totally wrong. On their site it's $159.81 + $19.95 delivery for $179.76 delivered. That makes it a worse deal.

      • +1

description says it's free delivery but the site still charges delivery.

        • Yes. I guess Warehouse1 has made a mistake there.

      • As IsTops said, their site was showing free shipping last night, so I have no idea whether they have changed it now or if the free shipping was bs in the first place.

        • +1

I actually checked their site first before I posted the deal. It was already adding shipping.

  • I purchased an item from Warehouse1 not long ago from eBay sale, never received the item, now I have to open a Paypal dispute to get my money back, their shipping method is randomly ship small number of orders and hold up the rest, seems they have cahsflow issue,No Paypal= NO order from Warehouse1, buyer beware.

    • Sorry to hear that. I received mine within 3 days. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I wonder if any others had the same problem?

      • -2

Be Honest, You should declare yourself is infact an associate of Warehouse1 !!!!!

        • Not at all mate. Just bought a few things from them before that's all. They seem to have good prices. I have been an Ozbargain member since 2010 with nearly 450 posts from different suppliers.
