I bought these last time and a word of warning - these are sharp. Actually sliced through the tip of a finger didnt require stitches though. If you can handle sharp objects these scissors are really good.

    • Ouch! Sage advice @jeffr.

If anybody wants a pair of scissors that are much less likely to cut your finger ( or worse 8-O ), try our WMZ School Safety Scissors. :-D

Thanks OP, have bought a pair

  • After two pair, but what's POLi like as I have never heard of it. Looked it up but it asks for bank account number and password. So can anyone comment on it? Thanks. (I can use PayPal if necessary)

    • Good question @oldhippy!

From the POLi FAQ - POLi is an online payment option which facilitates a Pay Anyone internet banking payment from your bank account to a merchant.

Or, for the layperson (like me) it's basically a quicker and easier way of doing Bank Transfers/Internet Banking. Through the secure POLi Payments window you enter your Internet Banking credentials, choose your account, confirm the payment and POLi does the rest!

Here's a list of the Available Banks it works with. POLi is owned by Australia Post, is very secure, and doesn't cost a penny. We've processed heaps of payments using it without a hitch!

If you do run into any troubles feel free to Contact Us.

    • Poli say they are safe, but the banks disagree, and most say it breaches their terms and conditions. So you aren't covered if something goes wrong.

Basically they do a hacker-type thing, so you think you're logging into your internet banking, but actually they are using your login credentials and logging in for you.

Read the Wikipedia page, it links to the warnings on several bank sites:
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POLi_Payments

Particularly read the bit about how incredibly insecure Poli version one was. They may be more secure now, but would you trust someone who was very amateur about security in the past? Have they improved?

Here's a more detailed article, but it's a bit dated:
