  • Sorry, offer code "aufb99" has not been recognised.

Follow this link and it will work, it's not a coupon, just sets all shirts at that price. Have updated the deal.

    • Excellent deal thanks OP. Any feedback on how do the sizes match up with TM? Do these guys have a Sydney store? And any experience with returns? Thanks

      • No Sydney store but returns are free.

        • -3

Sender pays postage I’m guessing? Jeez that would be expensive - international post to UK.

          Reply paid label is included.
You don't pay any postage for the replacement parcel.

Or you can just get a refund.

        • +1

          That’s excellent then. 👍🏼

        • @JahjaMan:

Yeah I have returned items once before. Since it goes back to the UK it does take a while but I didn't have any problems at all.

  • Legendary! Thanks mate. At least I'm going to look the part….

  • Have to pay extra $10 Each for a pocket

    • Works for me, I don't like pockets on my work shirts.

  • Perfect timing to grab some new year shirts - many thanks!

  • Thanks, as it doesn't look like TM Lewin will be doing this kind of (almost) site-wide discount code pricing very frequently anymore.

    • On that note they do have 4 for $110 for whatever shirts are included in the sale so they may be worth a look too. Should be able to do cash rewards on top also.

    • CT shirts are better anyway.

TM Lewin have gone downhill as of late. TOo many loose threads and cotton quality is degrading after a year.

      • Can anyone else confirm this? I've heard that TM Lewin are the better nuy.

        • +2

No issues with mine. Have about ten of the shirts. Only ones I wear for work. All are the non iron variant. Most are over a year old, a few are newer as I grabbed more so I had to do washing less frequently.

        • +1

My TM lewin have been great recently.

        • @Smigit:

I mean I have around 10 TM lewin shirts too, but my CT Shirts have better collar construction. They use a semi-fused collar with a more formal look.

        • I've found them to be much of a muchness. Slight differences in collar construction and fit of the extra slim. I own about 20 or so combined (mostly non-iron) and i find that they are a much better fit and quality than the standard Brooksfield, Van Heusen, Blaq, etc that you get here.

        • +1

I've stopped buying both TM Lewin and CT shirts. TM do fit me well, but I found the cotton around the collars and cuffs frays quickly. CT are great, but they started to annoy me with their inconsistent sizing depending on the weave. I would buy exactly the same size, but for example, the poplin weave would be tight, but the herringbone would be loose. I've moved onto Hawes and Curtis. No issues with quality or sizing so far.

        • @moabboy:

Agree regarding CT sizing but as I really like the shirts I take it to the tailor when I get them to make it fit my better. You look great once it's tailored.

      • I can agree with this. Two of my last two TM Lewin shirs have ripped and frayed.I also like that CT shirts are longer and stay tucked in longer.

  • Thank you very much for posting this, have been waiting for this particular deal to update my work clothes.

I've yet to figure out my sizing with TM Lewin, as I purchased with them once and I think they were too slim. I will just go with CT as I know my sizing and can highly rate the quality.

Sleeve length 81 is still a bit long for me, but luckily my mum is good with the sewing machine and they are easy enough to bring up.

    Thanks

  • Can someone tell me their casual business how do they compare with the $149 Country Road, Trenery or Sportscraft similar items?
What's a medium in Country Road equals to here?

    • I haven’t tried CR lately but I’d say CT are better. CR etc are way overpriced (in everything), even being a brick and mortar store. If you’re a medium in CR slim, I’d suggest you’d be a 39cm collar and 86 sleeve, Thats what I take and I’m 185cm/78kgs. That’s also in their Extra slim fit, which isnt too slim but an appropriate cut if you’re a slim to medium build.

If their casual shirts are a wider fit than the extra slim, I’d still take your standard m size.

    • Country Road has severely dropped their quality over the past few years. Head to ProductReview for Country Road and read the horror stories. My missus just did a massive shop there last year (frustrating but she likes the style) and has multiple issues with clothing literally falling apart after one or two washes.

Every shirt I own is CT and the only reason I replace is armpit staining after about 3 years.

      • Agree. Same with Aquila shoes. Don’t know why people would spend 2-400 on a pair of aquilla when they could get Meermin, Carlos Santos etc for the same price. It’s just about knowing what’s out there.

  • how to get around the "5 shirts per household"

    • Depends on how they are tracking that. If they’re checking the mailing address, send a second order to a parcel locker.

    • A delivery to home and a delivery to work/other?

    • Get a Mypost address at the post office for free and have it sent there

  • thanks op. been waiting for a while for this deal

  • I follow the link provided by the OP. I add three shirts to my shopping bag, but my total is AU$119.85, not $99?

    • +1

Looks like all shirts aren't 3 for $99. Only the ones that have '3 for $99 OR LESS' are in this sale (unless it has been for all shirts early and we are late to the party).

      • -1

Yep, once you filter down there isn't much stock per this offer.

    • I contacted support, the guy said there seems to be an issue with it, so ring them up to place the order and they will honor the 3 for 99 with code AUBG99

  • The shirts I added to my shopping bag were under the banner 3 for $99. I will check again at lunch, maybe it is a glitch on their site

    • I had to ring the 1800 number and place the order by telephone. There was no way to add the shirts to my bag and get the $99 checkout price. The person on the phone just made the order for me and manually adjusted the price to AU$99. the only thing I missed out on was the Cash Rewards, but c'est la vie

  • OP link still works. I placed an order this morning. The site is a glitchy but there's quite a bit of stock.

  • +3

Great deal, love their shirts. Don't forget cashrewards @ 5.6% !

    • Damnit! Forgot!!!

  • +2

Can anyone comment on TM Lewin non iron shirts v CT non iron shirts? Which one is better at staying crease free?

    • +1

I have both and in my experience its not so much the brand but the shirt itself, both brands have non iron shirts that work better than their others.

      • Thanks. I have no idea what you mean though. Do you mean that each shirt is unique and its just random pot luck if you get a well made shirt from either brand?

        • +1

Sorry mate, I mean like the blue check shirts work great but the pink ones don't.

For anyone trying to figure out sizing differences with TM Lewin:
    http://www.shirtdetective.com/charles-tyrwhitt-vs-tm-lewin/

    • +2

What a great site. Confirms that TM Lewin has a more fitted construction across the range compared to others.

      • +2

Comparing Tables 3 - 6, it appears that, when comparing collar sizes:
        - TML chest is always larger than CT for all cuts
        - TML waist is always slimmer than CT for 'normal' and 'slim fit'
        - TML waist is always larger than CT for 'extra slim fit' and 'super slim fit'

  • Just got 3 of the new super slim shirts. They are actually slim now, love it. Chest is fine, just need to focus on posture as it gets tight around gut if I let hip tilt forward; or just stop drinking beer. I'm 6'6" at 95kg if that helps anyone.
    http://www.ctshirts.com/us/about-our-shirt-fits/

  • Since I usually buy $10 business shirts from Target I think I might have a go and buy one of these. No idea what I'm doing though, maybe somebody can help. I just want a white business shirt. Being a slim guy (6'0 73kg) I'm thinking I need a slim fit (which is apparently their most popular fit) and I'm choosing between twill or poplin weave - being as I'm in Brisbane I think poplin would be best because it's cooler. Also think a classic collar will be fine. Does this sound right?

    • Sounds good to me. Once you figure out the right fit, these shirts are really good value. I would suggest extra-slim rather than slim because they are quite oversized compared to other modern shirt-makers.

Take advantage of their free returns to really figure it out - I'm not sure but I think they used to even encourage this so you can find the right one for you.

  • Boom! Have been waiting on a CT 3 for $99 deal. Thanks!

  • CT shirts are really good. I’ve purchased online and in store and very happy!

  • Hmmm I have seemed to have been charged 101.97 on my credit card…any idea why?

  • I received my shirts today. About 5 days from order to delivery. The shirts are awesome. So happy

  • Has the offer been withdrawn? following the link doesn't bring up 3 shirts for $99.

    • +1

I thought the same thing but asked about the promo on live chat and was given this link https://www.ctshirts.com/AUBG99 that sent me to the promo page where I was able to purchase with the discount. Hope that works for you.

      • Thanks @sq1ggled, I've updated the link.

  • +3

Couldn't get the above link to work so I went on the live chat and was given this link, no idea why there's a new one: http://www.ctshirts.com/augos4

    • Neither the OPs links nor this one works for me. Any ideas?

  • +1

Lucky I found this. This is an amazing deal for some real quality shirts. I just placed an order for new shirts and am still wearing the ones that I purchased late August 2015 (according to the order history) on a daily basis.

I am amazed at the wear I have gotten out of this - I used to wear shirts from Myer like Van Huesen and they didn't last six months before showing wear. Such a happy camper - especially at this price.

Also, link OP provided didn't work - chat gave me the following URL which worked flawlessly www.ctshirts.com/aufbook99. According to the offer conditions, that link doesn't expire till 31st January 2019.

    • This link doesn't work for me either
