  those $0.10-$0.20 ones I bought Gearbest are all in local landfills now.
  May worth getting 2-3 better quality ones rather than a bulk of unknown rubbish.

  I used to buy the cheapest usb cables i have benn able to find until one day i put between charger and usb cable a tool to measure throughput. That was the day when i threw away all the cheap ones and got a few decent ones.

      Didn't measure data transfer but charging. Cheapos had about 0.4 where the better cables charged with 1.5

        Right, I think that is due to the width of copper wire used, not indicative of data loss or anything like that. Thicker wire = less resistance = faster charging, that's all
