Do note you can also grab Civilization VI from the ongoing Humble Monthly deal for around $15~16 AUD although some of you thought that Civ 5 is a better game. I'm not a Civ player so no comments from me.

I just bought civ VI, I think i like the gameplay a bit more… graphics seem smoother etc.
wasn't sure about the cartoonie graphics as first but its decent.
the city state interactions seem better too…
The biggest problems for me is that the AI gets fixated on certain issues. They can be your best friend for the whole game, then you step over some hardcoded, arbitrary line, and they become your nemesis.
There's no real light-and-shade in the AI interactions. They're almost binary. It's not hard to be friendly with them, right until the point you cross them on an "agenda", and things escalate in the space of a turn.
But I guess that's reflective of the real-world, to some degree.

Got both Civ V and VI. If you are not sure about the CIV series then this deal is a great gateway into the series.
Maybe you can get two monitors and a powerful PC to play both games simultaneously so it won't be as much of a time sink 🤣

Civ6 on a mobile is not yet playable in my eyes. I mean Civ5 on planes, comfortably.

Also the apparently the lowest on record for the complete edition was $4.72 USD @ Funstock Digital.co.uk….. So I guess this is the 2nd cheapest price since then, that's ever recorded with the 3rd being a mere 18 USD cents more than this….which is of course all historically recorded on this site….hah.
