Get 3 Months of Access Fees

No thanks, I think 1 month of access fees is expensive enough :)

Lol jokes aside, not a bad deal. Could see many people using this.

Yes, especially if you have internet with optus already. They take $20 off with a bundled mobile phone, making this just $10 a month

      • Do they still advertise the $20 discount? I can't find it anywhere

      • So you get a $20 discount per month on the mobile service because it’s bundled with a broadband plan? I only get a $10 monthly discount that’s listed as “$10 broadband discount” on the bill.

      • Really? How to claim this offer?

Including discounts and flybuys comes to $27.92 a month. I haven't used optus in a while. How does this deal stack up against the 20gb Telstra plan for $36.50 (after inclusions)?

  • how do we get this? i can't seem to sign up for this

  • Me to. Any help? Link or tips?

  • To anyone who's on the fence about switching to Optus - please reconsider.

I signed up to the same plan at $30/mth and I've only just read it, unfortunately, as I'm now experiencing the same issues.

Their customer service is atrocious. It took me an entire workday, trying LiveChat and phone support from 9am to 5pm, just to get in touch with someone to activate my service in the first place as it would not allow me to do it online. As soon as I got through to two reps on LiveChat, they just called me and then transferred me to their phone service where I was advised of another 30 min wait.. I got so annoyed at the last person I asked them to cancel my order instead but they managed to scrape it through.

Now I've been chatting to someone from India for an hour and we are going round in circles. I don't feel that this person's English is sufficient to comprehend the issue and explain the breakdown of my bill. I've wasted hours with Optus customer support and I have only been a customer for one week. Don't do it.

I believe you can neg the deal to make people aware of such issues
