  • Do you still get the same warranty from Dell?

    • Yes, but when i called Dell, they told me my monitor was already registered to this business. Dell still processed the warranty but it seem strange and im unsure if they are an authorised reseller.

I just bought a motherboard from these guys in the last tech sale and got sent the wrong one, 10 days late. Huge set back and very disappointing.

        • thanks for posting,

I was looking at the i7-8700k its ~495 cheaper than else where.

made me suspicious when they dont sell any z370 MB's. might avoid altogether

        • @punkman: To be fair, I did get a i3 8350k from them too, which seems fine (Don't have a motherboard to test it on…) It did come late in the same package too, though.

Supposedly they were closed over christmas until 02/Jan/2018 which is fair enough, but then took them another week to send it. Their excuse was a influx of orders, which could be true. But then it was the wrong mobo :(

Also it was drop-shipped from Synnex (in WA)

  • 1440p 60hz - Not a gaming monitor for those wondering

    • +4

Good enough for 1440p at 60fps

These are aimed at colour accuracy for graphics professionals. Excellent displays (though there are better if you want to spend a lot more).

      • Which means it would also have good colour accuracy in games.

        • That's right

Its usually around $400 on dell outlet for as new. Havent seen it for $499 for over 1.5 years.

  • I think that these would be fine for gaming.

Ebay shows no MPN (Manufacturers Part Number) which means they aren't an authorised reseller. I also noticed "No return accepted" in the link. Hmm… unsure if these are reliable.

    Is it 3 years warranty?

    • Mediaform have a ABN so I assume they’ll be bound by consumer guarantees. The comment above says that Dell does honour the warranty but I’m unsure if it’s the 3 year standard. Either way consumer law should cover you.

      • I think they may just drop-ship everything via places like Synnex, rather than being an authorised reseller.

        • Is that inherently a bad thing? If they drop ship from Synnex they’re probably a reseller right, so they’d have access to warranty services and stuff.

        • Mine came from their shop according to their tracking but im in Sydney.

    • I think it would be an issue if one wants to return it for a change of mind, isn't? Australian Consumer Law overrides the seller's own policy if the product is faulty, or doesn't do what it is meant to do etc: http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/buy/contextual/return-policy.h…

  • Fantastic monitor. I have two of them at work that I love… granted I didn't pay for them work did but I will be buying them at the end of the lease from work.

I love the MST 1.2 options and find the quality fantastic. Plus who doesn't love a massively thin bezel.

  • Has anyone who bought this monitor had the 'shipped' message from this seller yet? Bought it on the 16th and today the end of business day on the 18th still no shipment message. Will wait until tomorrow afternoon and will send them an email if they don't send it until then.

    • Same here, their feedback shows that their shipping notifications are a little late but they do ship. I’ll send a email tomorrow afternoon asking as well if it doesn’t come through by then.

Never mind it arrived this afternoon

    • Ordered a mobo from them on the 16th and didn't get a sent/tracking e-mail until after it arrived today. Was drop-shipped from Synnex; no tax invoice enclosed, just a delivery docket.

      • That's weird. I emailed them and they told me that they're very busy with orders and that they'll ship my purchase today. It's after 4pm in Eastern states and still no 'sent' message. Looks like mine will also show up without a 'sent' notification as well. I don't understand why they do that.

        • Does seem like that's the most likely outcome. My shipping docket is from Dicker data, which is in Kurnell so at least its not coming from WA. On the other hand, the item name does contain 3YR which is probably warranty(?).

        • @saikyr: These guys are the weirdest sellers I have ever dealt with. The email I received from them on Friday the 19th said that they were busy and that they would send it today (that's yesterday, Friday the 19th), and I was given the tracking number (StarTrack). The tracking number they gave me has already been in my AusPost account since Wednesday the 17th, and was still showing that AusPost received just the shipping information and nothing else yet. But when I came home tonight, StarTrack left me a collection slip as they have already attempted delivery when I was at work. What the hell! The most confusing shipment info I have ever received. Haha! Now I have to wait until Monday to collect it as it went back to the main AusPost collection center and not to my local AusPost office, which is open on Saturdays.
