Hi guys,

A few more Allphones eBay deals for the eBay 20% off.

A cheap dual SIM phone, with a minimal bezel 5.5" FHD display

The OPPO R9s has an AMOLED 5.5 inch FHD screen, Snapdragon 625 Chipset, 64GB of on-board storage, 4GB RAM and 16MP cameras on both the front and back

The HTC One X10 is a solid mid-range handset, featuring a 5.5" FHD screen, and a large 4000mAh battery for long battery life.

A cheap option for those who are after a 4G Android Smartphone. It does have limitations like 1GB of RAM, but still a good basic option for those who want to make calls and other light activities.

Also please check out our other running deals on the Allphones Store Page

100% AU stock, GST tax invoice with ABN (TRS if eligible), local Australian manufacturers warranty. All are in stock and ready to dispatch. Thank you

LG Q6 seem like a good deal.

Looks cool — it's one of the few cheap phones that have 18:9 aspect ratio

However Im holding out for Motorola G6 Plus, which would also have that tall screen layout and SD660 and USB type C

      • +1

        SD660 and USB type C

Fingers crossed they add QC4/QC4+ and don't pull a Samsung.

the cpu/gpu is pretty hopeless though

oct core 1.4 is kind of… ehhh

        also only single band wifi

how worried would you be about LG boot loop? such poor value with local stock

    • Got a Q6 for for Mum and girlfriends Mum, they’re great phones.

  • Would the k4 sufficient to run navigation app? I am thinking to buy cheap android to run these app instead of buying a GPS.

  • The Oppo or HTC?

Ok taking out my personal opinions from this, the differences mainly are:

HTC supports band 28. Oppo doesn't.
HTC has both a single and dual sim model for sale (unsure what this one is) plus an SD slot, the Oppo has a dual sim but the SD card slot takes up the second sim space.
HTC has Corning Gorilla Glass, Oppo ??
Oppo has 4gb of ram and 64gb of rom, HTC has 3gb of ram and 32gb of rom.
      Oppo (apparently) doesn't have FM/radio
HTC Bluetooth v4.2 vs Oppo 4.0
HTC rear mounted fingerprint vs Oppo's front mounted (assumably) sensor.
HTC has GPS Glonass, Oppo doesn't.
Oppo have 3 colours, HTC has 2.
Oppo released Oct 2016, HTC released May 2017.
Oppo is 30g lighter (145g vs 175g) - Oppo could be mainly plastic vs HTC mainly metal?
HTC has a 4000mah battery, Oppo is 3010mah.

Taking back in personal opinions, I'd go with the HTC but that's personal preference for me.

some user said that oppo has poor support on their os.

Yep it's a fact. There were maybe 3 updates to ColorOS after I bought my Opppo several years ago. They then stopped and concentrated on the newer model. They seem to do that with all their mobiles.

Yes I have an R9S and it's a great phone hardware-wise but OPPO have all but abandoned it. They promised a 'major update' last year but it just turned out to be some minor GUI changes. They also lock the bootloader so you can't update it yourself. It's like they expect you to just buy a new phone if you want newer software. Never buying Oppo again after this.

I have the oppo and I'm not a huge fan. The hardware is nice, great camera and battery life. Unfortunately the software is horrible. They have a security system that limits which message app you can use (theirs), the launch is horrible and has a tendency to take over any replacements, the power saver is over zealous and kills of processes and the Bluetooth stability is rubbish. I am permanently having to reset the Bluetooth cache to make connections possible. There is supposed to be an update but it is now 4months overdue. A lot of people love theirs but coming from a galaxy s5 I am so disappointed.

Was literally just browsing the sale. Anything similar weight/size wise to the Q6 above with NFC,a decent camera and fingerprint scanner?

Im coming from a MI5S and the only I'm switching for is the god-awful fingerprint scanner.

    • Try the OnePlus 3t for similar price and size. Awesome finger printer sensor which is Faster then iPhone 6 when I tested it with a friend. Better sensor then my friend's S7 edge. However Camera not as good as these two phone but is decent. Quality is top too.

  • HTC, One X10.. $306 for a Mediatek P10.

  • Any chance for a better deal on Huawei Mate 10?

It is currently $778.39 with 20% off, when previously it was $779 with 10% off.

I understand that stores contribute most of the discount when it comes to 20% off selected stores but it is difficult to justify the purchase from a consumer POV when you pass up on the 10% hoping for a 20%, but it is still the same price at 20% off.

EDIT: just realised that 10% discount was targetted so not a deal available to everyone

  • thanks

please add Deal on Xiaomi Note 4

  • HTC has a great battery, NFC, great screen and definitely pleasingly great speaker. However, the camera is very disappointing. It needs a steady hand and very good light. Otherwise, the results will be underwhelming. The OS, I would suspect, would be stuck on Marshmallow forever.

  • anyone know what the deal is with warranty with AllPhones —-says 1 mth return to seller and then 24 month warranty in description???

    • Hi shteeve5150,

1 mth is for change of mind and defects within 30 days, afterwards you'll be covered by the Australian manufacturers warranty. Thanks

      • So is there a Australian tax invoice issued? Thanks for the info.

        • +1

Yes, as per the description of this deal:

100% AU stock, GST tax invoice with ABN (TRS if eligible), local Australian manufacturers warranty.

  • thanks
