    • Hi Amanda,
Will this work in Seoul, South Korea?

      • Hi there

Unfortunately the SIM catd doesn't work in Seoul , fingers crossed three let it work there soon!

        • Thanks. I m going there next week!

    • Does it work in Malaysia ?

      • Hi

        Unfortunately not yet :(

    • Hi,

Do you have travel sims for use in Los Angeles and Las Vegas?

      Thanks.

      • Hi there.

The SIM card works in USA as well..

    • Will it work across multiple countries? e.g. If I activate in Shanghai then fly to Hong Kong, will it work in HK?

      • Yes absolutely that's right!

You can do that just be sure to turn on data roaming.

        Amanda

        • Not quite right actually as it is not supported in China. You could activate in China if you had wifi, but you could not use the sim in China. HK is supported.

Any plans for some love to Japan?

      • +1

Soon very soon I promise were working on it. But japans SIM cards and prepaids services can sometimes be confusing to work with.

    • Hi Amamda… so this SIM is valid for one month from day of activation…is that correct. If I arrive in U.K. on 28th June 2018 and activate. It will expire midnight 27th July 2018 GMT …wherever I am in Europe… Sound about right?

If I'll be travelling Europe for 5 weeks, can I purchase a recharge voucher from your website while Im overseas (i.e week 4 before the SIM data expires to top up)? Thanks.

    • +1

yes, but if you run out of data prior to the end of the first period of data you will need to wait till the date rolls over

      eg
      data expiry is 21/01/2018
you finish your data on the 15/01/2018
you recharge on the same day
you still need to wait till the 22/01/2018 for the data to work

If you use this in iceland the data is horribly slow in Reykjavik, other than that, me and the mrs used 3 of these sims on our xmas/nye 38 day trip and could not fault it, apart from the recharge date of roll over.

Yes I had the same question as "Tragesty"

      • Reminded me to change my old username (accounts 8 years old damn!) :)

best to purchase two (or ten since the sim won’t expire)

So u can activate the second card after a month (or when you run out of data). And it will workout cheaper than the top up at current discounted price.

      Hi there.

      You most definitely can.

In fact, here is a discount code for 40% off all our Top up vouchers.

      • Thanks Amanda. Can you confirm tuzii's comment regarding data top ups is correct. Do you have to wait for the sim to expire for the data top up to take effect?

  • +3

Hi why does your page ask for departure date? Can you go into detail of how to activate?

    • Hi there

      It's simply for marketing purposes.

You may insert whatever number you like.

But the truth does help us :)

      • Amanda
  • Does it work in Ukraine and Russia?

    • Interested to know about Russia too. Previously Russia was excluded but now it says all of Europe

    • No, full list here: http://www.three.co.uk/feel-at-home/#dest

The all of Europe in the description is not actually "all of Europe".

  • What about Mexico?

  • Hi Amanda,

Is there a shelf life on these? Like can i activate these say in 18 months time? I want to buy the cards just so i have them there for convenience haha.

Also any ETA on North American sim cards been sold?

    • interested as well, i'd potentially buy a few

  • Im headed to germany in march and have a german sim on the way to me, but will get this one and use the german one as a backup as its super difficult to activate and top up sims over there.

    • Germany is not that difficult really, just go into Vodafone shop with your passport and they will activate it for you using the Shop address.

  • Can you tether with these sims?

  • If I buy this for use in Germany and other EU countries but not the UK as I will not be visiting the UK. Will the SIM activate and provide the bundled roaming data and calls on landing in Europe? Thanks

  • Hi,
I'm travelling to a few cities on a single trip, Hong Kong > London > LA. Will this simcard work for me for all cities in a single trip?

  • Any deals for the 12gb bundle it was $36 at Boxing Day sale you had?

  • I notice that this was cheaper in your previous posts (twice in December & once in November - all $27, for example) - can you still do this price for us Ozbargainers?

    Hi Amanda,

I am looking for a UK/EU sim for a trip in March and just found this deal. It looks good, but I'll probably go with an EE sim card from simcorner.com.au.

SO I just wanted to give you guys a tip—-you may want to consider offering EE's sims in addition to the ones you already offer. I mainly like EE's sim better than Three's because reports online are that they have much better 4G coverage in Europe (Three apparently mostly gets you 3G on the continent). In addition to this, EE's sim allows tethering (I'm travelling with my partner, so we'd both have data with just 1 EE sim card.) It looks like one could get EE's sim for 15 GBP in a UK store, or for about 25 EUR at SimLocal (Heathrow airport store). Having the option to buy this in Australia at a similar price would be great!

  • What is the process for activation?

    Is it a simple process?

  • Been looking for one of these. Great.
Just bought 2 to use in South America.
On way to checkout it said there are only a couple left.
