    Don't sign 24 month contracts on NBN. Most ISPs offer month to month.

    It's not 2003, you think Aussie broadband would've moved beyond peak off-peak sillyness. Maybe satellite is different.

      NBNco charges peak/offpeak for satellite, so it gets passed on.
      Poor buggas, Skymesh has a 210Gb plan - 5gb peak, 205Gb offpeak.
      iinet's biggest satellite plan is 60/190Gb

    not sure what I would do for the other 2/3rds of the month, read a book maybe?

    It's a Satellite NBN service, does it mean I can travel anywhere on earth and still got NBN speed ? since it's Satellite so no more roaming ?

      No. NBN does not have satellites covering all of Earth, just Australia.

      Also you will need to bring the satellite dish with you and that is not really doable.

        The dish can mount on top of the 4WD, it's not biggie, but it's not Satellite just NBN plan named with Satellite to misleading like a BMX into a BMW…

      No. The nbn satellite network does not cover the whole world.

      It also requires a dish that isn't portable, so maybe if you carry around a 240v generator and walking frame with a dish on it…

    Am I missing something here? This deal at best seems average. I'm not even sure if this can be considered a deal given other ISPs providing cheaper deals with no lock-ins.
