    Avago A3050 Sensor

I'll believe that when I see it.

  • Up to 4000 DPI? (claimed) in increments of 1000

Wow increments of 1000? How annoying. 1000 is way too slow and 2000 a tad fast. I use 1600 on my Logitech. Then again my mouse wasn't $12 =P …probably an unfair gripe for the price…

    • Yes. I don't understand it either.. most of the time I actually sit at 800 DPI, with 600 as the bottom setting, 700, 800, 1000.

The claim of "Avago A3050 Sensor" hmm does sound a bit too good to be true, but I will review it once I get mine. However I'm not an electronics specialist so I won't be taking it apart.

      • I scrolled down and saw a picture of the UI. It looks like there are 250 dpi increments in the settings. Scrolling down picture also implies 4 settings are adjustable 125/250/500/1000. But the description says 1000 / 2000 / 3000 / 4000… I'm assuming its probably just some bad English communication on their end lol

Just got the mouse delivered today. I installed the software and it seems to have a good number of features.

Not as good as Logitech Gaming software since it cannot auto-detect games, and it only remembers two different profiles.

Mouse switches feel OK, I feel that the buttons take a tad too much pressure to depress when compared to my Logitech G502 or M950T, but otherwise tactile feel is good.

There are side buttons which you can reconfigure, these don't feel as good and they are slightly mushy.

There's also Macros that you can program but since the mouse doesn't have a lot of extra buttons (there's 6 buttons in total, not counting mouse wheel up or wheel down) you won't be using it extensively.
