Going to the bris one today and I'm scared lol, luckily accomodation is already booked on the cheap!
So this would be a bad place to go for someone who doesn't have any exact plans for when and where they want to travel?

I got cheaper flights, about $250 off my tour, i knew how much my tour was for a while so i knew the saving was when i saw it.
It's a really good expo if you plan on doing it with Tour groups (e.g Top Deck, Contiki etc). The deals can be had instore aswell if you can't make it or bothered going to the expo if you mention it.
Also there are other things like workshops aswell done by various companies and speakers.

It does seem that way looking at the info at the top.
This is usually a good place to talk to people about things like Rail travel in Europe. You don't need a ticket beforehand, entry is free. The lady from flight centre said there are raffles for prizes if you have pre registered.
You know those annoying salespeople (most likely uni students working on commission) in shopping centers that try to approach you awkwardly while you're walking from store to store and try to sell you something completely useless? Well now imagine that there are literally hundreds of these salespeople all trying to get you to sign up to there "amazing" travel itinerary, and then you'll start to understand what these travel expo's are.
TLDR - Don't go to these travel expos

Can anyone actually give me any insight as to whether or not it is actually worth my while going to this expo? I am planning to travel to Europe later in the year but can't help thinking I'll just end up walking around aimlessly and would be better off saving the hassle of parking and just staying at home doing some research/bargain hunting on the net.
Beware you will most likely come out poorer from one of these expos :)
I went to the US one (hosted by Flight Centre aswell) and came out with a holiday for almost 5 weeks hahah.
