    Do you have to nail it to the wall? If you leave it on the ground will it stay in place when you try to extend the hose?

    If you want a good value hose reel and are willing to pay more than this, I have had good experience with the 30m Plantcraft hose reels which can be found on Ebay & Catch at ~$120-130. I'm no expert but in my experience you have to pay over $200 to get similar quality at local retail.

    Pros:
    Easy unwind/rewind.
    Good hose quality.
    Plenty of enclosure clearance combined with quality hose = rewind reliability.
    Brass fittings.
    Semi-brass spray gun which functions well.
    All parts appear to have above average life if my brother-in-law's ~3yr old unit is a reliable indicator since all his bits & pieces still look and work as-new.

    Cons:
    Locking the reel requires more attention/effort than most reels due to the subtlety of locking positions.
    Only the 30m version has good build quality, the smaller & cheaper models use cheaper components.

    Cheap hose reels like this are a waste of money. The hose is cheap, the reel is cheap and spare parts are unavailable. This price seems to the normal price and isn't a bargain when you look at how crap they are to operate and their short life span.

    Buy I've if the big name brands for theee times the price and they will last for fifteen plus years with no dramas like Hozelock or Gardena.

    Cheaper ones including Holman just don't last.

    I recently bought a JET-USA pressure washer from Kogan. Only after the package arrived did I realize that it didnt come with a hose to connect to the water tap. Can these Garden hoses connect to the pressure washer?
