        Broke enough haha

        • +5

          Don't worry, I'm brankrupt

I'd be getting the AOC as the Benq doesn't have HDMI inputs.

      • Thank you for posting this, couldn't find if the Benq one had HDMI inputs and will be using this for a Nintendo Switch. Bought the AOC.

      • bought an hdmi cable and found the 2W speakers are tinny and similar to my older laptop. also could not register on the site. left a message on AOC to call back but their voicemail box was full. twice. emailed them to resiter and they did not respond. the monitor seems to work. no manual on site either.

  • Can they stack with ebay giftcards?

  • -6

    IPS or gtfo.

  • Are these Vesa mountable? Where can I get a decent Vesa mount for x2 21" Benq monitors?

  • Is there any hs monitor with built in speakers? Of course need to be affordable too and I'm on budget

    • +1

that's what I keep looking for and I eventually found one from ASUS.

That being said, all the one's I've tried sounded tinny and uniformly rubbish… as in worse that laptops. Good luck in your search and if you do find one, please share!

      • How much u paid for the asus? Mind to share model no?

        • Oops, sorry, I was going to mention it, but forgot, I found a pre-owned one from gumtree. Got it for just $60 from a lovely young couple.

If you're really keen on the model its 247eUH…. and it appears I've made a even bigger mistake, it's a Philips. The Asus was a different 24 incher for a different build. Apologies.

    • +1

You could try something like this from mwave for $129 https://www.mwave.com.au/product/philips-226v4lab-215-full-h…
Or for $149 you get a 24 inch screen and HDMI input https://www.mwave.com.au/product/aoc-m2470swh-236-full-hd-mo…

Regardless, inbuilt speakers are usually terrible due to their size limitations.

      • +4

Umm the second one you listed is part of the deal above for $116.

I would like to ask a question about another product - Is this the place for my question?

    • +5

      no

    • +15

Yes. But you only get one question, and unfortunately you just used it.

  • Doesn't post to Vic Regional. Handy for a second monitor at that price. (either one)

  • +23

OP can you please confirm these monitors display all colours of the rainbow with absolute equality and unambiguous support for any perceived variation in hue and tonality whether chosen or inherited or unidentified with?

    • +3

      What blasphemy.

I omitted some technical terms due to my own inadequacies.

    • +1

      Well one for each then.

      • Yeah the thing is that they move at the same time … Talking about eyes they are very sophisticated bio-camera dont you think ? Or I would say a miracle

  • Doesn't post to regional Vic, what a shame.

  • +2

    No IPS, pass!

    • Looks like you didn't catch one this time.

      • I want the IPS one, Thanks iforgotmysocks

Ahhh nausea inducing 60hz monitors… Good old days.

    • Still have a laptop with 60hz display, hurts my eyes coming from 165hz.

  • Is something like this worth buying for laptop (to make screen clearer) ?
I have a type of dyslexia (Irlen's dyslexia) where i get much more glare and blurriness then most people. It can cause headaches, and it makes my eyes strain and water often.
Im thinking of getting a cheapish laptop (or just using 1 I have) but I really do need a clearer screen. Would this be wayy better than the type on a $500 laptop ?
    Thanks
Ps. Sorry for the noobish questions. I haven't much understanding or knowledge at all on computer screens. And guys in the stores selling them dont seem to know anything about the screens of what their selling in store either.

    • +1

I have a benq eye care I bought from an ebay sale, great monitor. You might need something with a higher refresh rate though, not sure for your condition. The benq reduces glare and eye strain by reduced blue light and I don't notice any refresh flicker.

  • Does the AOC have any type of blue light filter mode?

  • Could someone please share the exact dimensions of the AOC M2470SWH without the stand please.
I need the actual external dimensions of the monitor not the viewing screen size please.
    Thanks in advance.
All good. Found it - 551.4 x 338.4 (without stand)

  • Stupid question - can I use an HDMI to connect this screen to my laptop and use it as a dual monitor at home? (watch netflix, look at lectures, etc.)

    • +1

If your laptop has an HDMI out then yes. If not your going to need a USB adaptor.

  • "This code can't be applied to your order."

    On the AOC one.

    • +1
      • Nope, still getting the error. Incognito window so no extensions affecting it. Post to central Melbourne. Credit card and paypal on file.?

        • +1

No idea then, sorry. Maybe contact eBay as the issue appears to be specific to your account.

        • May not be the problem in your case but…

    • No jacking here buddy. You do realise you need to apply the coupon for 20% off, right?

      • Apply 20% off actually only 5% off after price jacked

  • Damn it I thought I'd ordered the AOC yesterday but turns out I didn't complete the purchase!!! Any chance more stock will be re added?

  • drats no HDMI on the BENQ - wanted to buy a samsung dex station. Looks like that won't be possible now with the Benq not having a hdmi input :(
