    Seriously? Maximum Video Resolution : 640 x 480 @ 30fps

    Are we back in 1995?

    • The DCS-5020L produces high quality video images …

  • i heard the software are shit

did they release new mydlink software ?

    • The Updated one works pretty well, albeit a tad slow. Works though and no need to punch holes in your firewall to access the units from the internet.

  • Should have bought one of these- https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/358474

That's not a PTZ camera though. PTZ cameras cost a fair bit more.

      • Yes it is.

Seriously outdated model. Also software wasn't great - it was good for it's time (I bought a bunch of various MyDLink IP cams) but is rubbish in 2018.

Dont bother with this camera, I bought this years back and then bought a foscam FI9826P. The picture quality far superior with foscam although the foscam does cost a fair bit. I bought the foscam for 150 a few years ago although the local importers seems to have jacked up the price a fair bit since. Both cameras can stream from the cloud and can also save motion to FTP servers. The foscam also comes with a SD card slot to save locally.

    • Yes I agree get a Foscam for around the same price as this deal.

    • But Foscam requires you to redirect external ports to access from the Internet. DLink Cloud has a secure gateway to access your cameras without setting up insecure port redirects or DMZs.

      • Not with foscam cloud, it is same as dlink cloud. I have no ports forwarded or DMZ for the camera.

      • In all fairness though, DLink doesn't have a stellar reputation when it comes to security of their products of this vintage.
