No matter which way you skin it, that is an astounding price to pay for something that Apple will purposefully slow down in a few years time. I'm incredulous people would actually spend $2100+ on a phone.

Yeah. Bough a macbook for 1700 AUD to develop an application to sell on App Store, but need a device to test so spend 2000AUD for a phone. Lol

FYI those who decided to put the money out, you can always try to get a on spot 5% discount in JB and pay with gift card that you buy with 5% off. End up cheaper than this deal!!

Personally I think Apple being too greedy for the past few years. I use to like it…. Solid OS way ahead of Android and price where…. well high be reasonable.
Now if you look at android today, since Android 6, the system is very solid and its flexibility start to show its power(Dual App just an example), and equally good spec handset are going for i/3 the price of Apple flagship.
man… these prices are getting ridiculous 2k can get you an amazing gaming computer……. or a return trip to america, accom and disneyland :P
