(Back in Stock) TP-Link Archer D9 AC-1900 Wireless Dual Band ADSL2+ Modem Router, Half Price, $75.05 + $5 Postage @ MSY eBay

PICK5

Just had OW price beat this deal that MSY is running on eBay.
Checked around and it seems like it's the lowest price currently available.
It did take around 15 minutes and 3 guys in front of a computer before they were convinced.

Wow, so MSY actually have an eBay page, I'm surprised.

Could have gotten $5 off the price anyway by using the code "PICK5".

    • +4

It was more for the convenience of not waiting for it and making OW knock off $100 off their price tag :)

      • True, but for this deal it brings the price down to $80.05 delivered.

        • +1

          Paid $79.80
The guy at the counter worked off (price + postage) - 5%.
Who am I to tell him how to do his job ;)

        • +1

@Zotech: What I'm saying is, the deal should be updated to be $75.05 + $5 postage using the code "PICK5".

Although that amount can't be price matched at OW, for the sake of 25c I'm sure plenty of people would rather just have it delivered unless they needed it right away.

          @Porthos:
          Done

    • Hopefully better experience through eBay, as last time they got stung by accc

  • Wow just bought for $110, a week ago

  • +1

Good deal and I'm glad they didn't pull the "it's a grey import" card on you

  • Just a warning… this is not NBN (FTTP) compatible.

    • +7

You mean not FTTN compatible. Will work fine with FTTP as it has a WAN port.

      • +4

Apologies you are correct it is not FTTN compatible.

        • getting FTTN in June and i am using this…. sad. what is good for FTTN? need to check out this website for bargain

thanks op. Just in time for my adsl2+ modem router which I broke after I conveniently kicked while moving some furniture

  • +1

    I just received the D7 Archer's refund.
Try my luck with this one ?
Any one has any experience with this ?

    • +2

Yeah, had mine for a year or 2. Best router I've had. Had billion and drayteks before. Very stable on my adsl line and as I mentioned below, it has a really good wifi range. Beats the other routers I've had by a mile. Can't install vpn configs on it as far as I'm aware, so if that's important something to consider.

      • +1

Yeps second that. Only moved due to NBN. Switched to the Asus.

      • sold out :(
I bought Xiaomi Router as per recommendation of my work colleague, will report how is it.

  • Great price @zotech. Already have one so can recommend it. Great wifi range from it.

    • I installed it a few hours ago and it seems to be working just fine. Ran a few speed tests and was hitting a constant 9mbit where with my crappy Linksys X3500 it would be all over the place bouncing between 7mbit - 8.5mbit.

  • Item is no longer available?

  • Guess they didn't have much stock :(

  • MSY should have their own code: NOSTOCK

  • ozbargained

  • Great price. Does this have multicast? I can't find a definite answer on the tplink website. I'm interested because I've got a xiaomi iot setup at home with two base stations and home assistant. Multicast is needed to communicate with the xiaomi devices.

  • Great modem. Owned one of these when I was living in a double bricked apartment. Used it to cut through walls and get more reach for wifi and it did a great job.

  • oh no, I wish I didn't buy R7000 which was 190……

  • +2

At least their eBay listing is much easier to navigate than their website.

  • +1

Darn missed it. W8960 still going fine tho..

    • @ninjataki
      Back in stock mate.

Why is this model so expensive? (RRP)

  • +2

“did take around 15 minutes and 3 guys in front of a computer…”

True persevering not giving up ozbargain spirit shown by you.

  • +3

Ha, MSY have a neutral already in just 5 transactions. Surprise, surprise…it's gonna be a bloodbath

    • It's a pretty useless neutral though, the feedback text for that is literally: "H"

  • They started ebay. sounds good.

  • Compatible with NBN HFC?

  • Called OW, but refused to price match with MSY ebay price ?

  • Appears to no longer be available.

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought one, received notice it had been sent 3 hours after order.

  • Can any one send me a photo of the OW recipet.

  • deal active again.
