"triangular design which amplifies sound quality"

    Science.

These are awful quality, I bought a couple a few years ago and they've both died.

      Thanks for saving my $29

    • I have the model up, which is twice as long. It is fiddly to connect to, and the battery hasn't lasted well. Sound is respectable for the size.
      Wouldn't buy again.

  • outdoor?

  • I would warn prospective buyers that the quality is terrible. I bought several years ago when HP was doing a direct clear out for $15 or so. I had it replaced twice as the speaker would stop working for no apparent reason. It would charge and connect, but no sound. After the third item, I got fed up and asked for a reverse charge.

  • Awful Awful quality as stated by others.

Even purchased at bargain price when hp were flogging them off by including with hp products for a few dollars more, they turned out to be bad value.

First one died within couple of months for no reason. Second one lasted about the same. Third one was DOA. Gave up……

  • There's some justifiable heat drawn towards Ozbargain and the ranks of fanbois and questionable bargains but…for me the true strength of OzB is comments like all of the above.

Someone posts a supposed bargain and members take the time to point to it that far from being a bargain it's not really worth anything as it's just not good.

Thanks to all of the above posters

I posted the deal and I was not offended.

I still think it is a reasonable deal ….. if it does not fail quickly. I researched it before I bought it. The Amazon reviews were good. The YouTube reviews were positive.

Of course I would not have bought it if I knew if the above comments, let's see how it goes. It a pretty simple thing really, the only thing that that needs to be good is battery.

  • OK, no-one will read this but what the heck.

The speaker arrived by Australia Post nice and quick. Good work Futu.

Honest report not being defensive due to all the negative posts :)

Presentation : 10/10 The speaker looks a million bucks, very nice quality solid look, has a nice quality soft cover too.

Sound : 6/10 Sound is OK not fantastic, comparable to a good portable radio, volume is adequate given it's size.

Operation : 9/10 I got it paired it less than a minute BUT the documentation was poor. I googled it and found it was easy.

    Conclusion

If the speaker does not fail in the next 2-3 years then I am happy with the purchase.
