    I miss Dave.

Nice deal OP. Wife is looking for a new phone. Was gonna go Xiamoi, but will research this one now.

Completely absolutely not directed to you, out of topic, but coincidencely I'm looking for a new wife. Searching for xiaomi background candidates. Hehe kidding

    Released 2016, November
    No Band 28
    Hybrid Dual SIM
    Type C 1.0

  • It's a good phone for this price range, certainly there are better phones but the discount is not bad.

  • How is that a phablet? It pretty much an average sized phone.

    • +1

Agree. Even mine is 6" and I feel normal. My phone size I meant

      • I don't know why gearbest considers it phablet. This phone is 5.5 inch.

        • +4

Because for Chinese 5.5" is long… I meant big… Peace brothers! Kidding only

        • @dragonindespair: hahahah TOP!

    • +1

The average sized phone has been a phablet for some years now. Welcome to the late 20-teens.

This has more than double the screen area of an iPhone 4.

  • Does this have a notification led?

    • +1

      On the front, yes.

      • Thanks, I've never seen one on the back.

  • interesting phone

supposed to be india china only and superior to the motorola G

does it actually get quarterly updates?

    • +2

Its a horrible phone. Not superior than Moto G

      • +1

I wouldn't get a Motorolla again. My Moto g4 is dying already after 4 months. Looks like a common issue.

Plus it's a slow bitch with crappy dual sim software and you can't use while charging, without it freaking out.

My Nexus 5 is still going, 5 years now. Come on on Moto

  • My GF needs a new phone, so how important is band 28 for optus on the gold coast?

    • +1

More importantly, how important is the Gold Coast to Optus. We live there and we ditched Optus for Telstra because of poor reception and lack of interest in the problem .. :-( .. !! It's all about the network coverage ….

      • yeah I'm on vodafone and I've never had a problem on the GC
