    I wonder how targeted works, it seems to me though more deals you buy the higher chances you will be targeted?

      I think the opposite with a deal like this, it's probably to kick people up the a**e who haven't bought in a while. I think the margin for Groupon is about 20% so this is a bit of a bargain for those who can use it

        Yeah I sort of agree with you, I think even at 15% off it is pretty good deal out there, so that gives them 5% of margin.

          I have spoken with a person who has pest control deals on Groupon and he said Groupon takes 30%, very similar to Uber eats who takes 35% from restaurants

          Oh what I meant was when I booked a pest control Groupon, the merchant told me on the phone that I should’ve booked directly with him and saved him 30%, which I assume is how much Groupon takes from the merchants

    They send you a code every 2-3 months

    Here is the email

    I have unsubscribed all their annoying marketing emails. Other than email is there another way to check if my account is targeted without testing the codes one by one?
