  • Can I purchase it now and have it delivered to hotel for keeping then activate it in April?

    • Hi JRLEE

You most definitely can ! However, we would charge an international shipping rate for the service.

      • The hotel is in New Zealand so why international shipping?

        • +1

Because they are in Australia? So they ship the sim cards from Aus… Shipping from Australia —> New Zealand = International

        • @tomochin1991: Oops I thought it was a NZ seller. Cheers mate

  • Uhhh, you posted it a month ago claiming the same price is 40% off, misleading? Or has the price gone up?

    • +1

      Hi doweey,

Thank you so much for pointing that out my mistake it was a complete accident

How are you addressing all the issues where purchased sims were supposedly posted but they never arrive?

    • +1

      Hello again blahhh

we are actually knuckling down harder on postage times this year, were a small Australian company and trying our hardest to make sure people get their travel SIM cards on time, sometimes, we do tend to "oversell" available stock and we simply message customers who are departing later and explain to them that they will receive their SIM card when our new stock arrives. Hope that clears up the confusion and were happy we addressed your problem last year :)

      • So it's a known issue with your stock and not for marketing purposes.

      • My issue was that I was never messaged or advised that it was delayed.

I had to chase and follow up multiple times with little to no response.

After finally making contact, I was promised that my SIM had been sent out multiple times although it failed to arrive on every occasion.

This made me doubt that it had even been sent in the first place since a tracking number was never provided (even though I was advised it had been sent with tracking) .

I can say that I've had an excellent experience with them, though I was a bit worried about other OZBargainers' experiences about non or late delivery.

I made an order on Saturday evening, worried about getting it on time for my trip on Friday the following week, and having Australia Day on the Thursday before that, meaning I had to get the card by Wednesday latest.

After one PM message to them, and and email to them soon after, I was impressed that the card was mailed out Express Post on Monday, and I got it on Tuesday!

One thing to note is that the card is kinda pre-activated. So, if you ring 200 when you touch down, you'll hear that there is NO credit. Don't panic (I did!). It just means there is no 'recharged credit' or 'funny money' like Telstra (on those legacy prepaid plans). BUT, it is definitely loaded with calls and data credit. AND the calls credit could be used to call back to Australia too!

And with the data hunt promo during summer, I have more than plenty data to use. Highly recommended!

    • Thank you so much we really appreciate the feedback!

If you could leave a review on our product page of our 2 degress SIM card that will be absolutely great!

For what it's worth, I ordered from these guys, last year (40% off), and the SIM cards arrived just fine.

I've just ordered more, for this year.

    • Thank you so much richard :)

      • My three SIMs from this time round (2 separate orders), arrived yesterday (Thursday, 15 Feb), so I definitely recommend these guys.

  • 1gb only?

    • Unfortunately for now yes :( but we will be getting the new Carry over combos with more data next month.

    Thanks bought 2

    • Thank you jamiea really appreciate it!

  • Only 35% now though..was 50% then 40%..
Come on rep! You can do better for ozbargain!

    • hey there :)

hahaha thank you for the feedback, we are always providing OZB customers with monthly discounts of the RRP , and we leave our facebook and google search lead customers to pay roughly about 10-15% off their first purchase.. we will always do our best to help out the OZB community, thank you for your feedback :)

      • can you up the discount ti 45%?

  • My Mrs is over there now using her sim from an earlier deal. She just calls me up when ever with so many minutes and it's as clear as a local call. Works a treat thanks!

  • Any chance you can do the 5GB Europe deal again?

    • Hey there :)

Sure thing we are always here to give the ozb community great rates.

  • Can you buy additional data for this?

    • Following as I'd like to know this too?

What's it cost to add an extra GB or 2 if you need it while you're over there?

Or is it better to buy 2 sims and ditch the first one if/when it runs out of data?

      • +1

To add an extra 1GB it's an extra $20NZD, so it's probably best to get an extra SIM. I ran out of data with a couple of days left and was wishing I'd grabbed an extra one.

        • It's actually $19, but the minimum you can add to your $ balance is $20. Nice :(

    • Hi there ,

In response to everyone asking for more data ,

You can simply download the 2 degrees data clock app from the Google Play store or the App store.

Through the app, you can select how much unlimited 4G data you would like for a certain amount of time, for example you can select durations for hours, days or weeks.

Hope that clears up the confusion on getting more data !

Alternatively, we will be releasing new Carry over combos from 2 degrees with way more data !

We will keep the ozb community with updates.

I have bought two sims with previous deal, used in NZ and working well, thanks Rep.

    • Happy to hear that tinko :)

Thank you so much and hope your enjoying your trip!

  • Hi, does the departure date* refer to the date departing Australia or New Zealand?

    • Hi frannie,

The departure date refers to when you will be leaving Australia, we just use this for marketing research to figure out the best times to advertise in the seasons :)

Let me know if you have any more questions I am happy to help.

  • We just came back from a NZ cruise and these came in very handy.

    • Great news sooo happy to hear that !

  • Don't bother. I placed an order a week ago, and they're only sending out my cards now - a day before I leave. I even sent them my departure date. Useless.

    • Hi llam7

This was ammicably and immediately resolved I honestly really appreciate your patience during resolving the issue !
