Was looking at the other thread about the Hisense N7 on Appliance Central, and thought I'd check the prices for the TCL X2US QLED after some people were talking about it. Think this is the cheapest price for both the 55 inch and 65 inch thus far.
55 inch https://www.ebay.com.au/i/272923605066?chn=ps&fl=a
65 inch https://www.ebay.com.au/i/273018386142?chn=ps

Supposed to be a very good TV, 800 nits brightness, QLED technology for better colours, built in soundbar.

PC World review here for what it's worth https://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/review/tcl/x2-lcd-qled-tv/630…

Note that there might be an Ebay 20% of sale including Appliance Central coming soon, which might drop the price of these further (though I'm betting they will just remove them or jack the price).

  • Don’t forget PICK5 for 5% off where available.

  • Good review.

    3yr warranty is worthwhile.

  • Good price. I remember I paid nearly $1200 too before Christmas for x2us55'. Nice tv for the price.

  • What are peoples view of this versus hisense N7

    • I've got the Hisense N7, which I picked up for about $1000 a couple of months ago (55 inch). It's a solid TV, does everything reasonably well without being spectacular in any area. The brightness is a little low for proper HDR content but picture and functionality is generally good, especially with the latest firmware.

However if I hadn't already got it I think I would be tempted by this deal, from what I can see (without investigating too deeply) is that this TV has better brightness and colour range.

    • the last time I looked at it, this was better than the N7

    • Yep, should bring it down to $1152 for the 55 inch and $1799 for the 65. I'll add once PRONTO goes live

  • These are now available using the PREWINTER code, although the 55" model is now $1,216.

    • Its actually cheaper for the 65X2US using the PICK5 code with the cheapest unit here —> https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/142515812067

      $1,888.00 - 5% = $1,793.60

        • @fez:

Well, I was comparing the 65" model, as that's the size I'm after and I can obtain either for roughly the same price.

        • @Lorindor: yes true, or do u get top spec but smaller size.
