    • Same experience, neg from me.

Given the number of negative feedbacks the ebay seller is having, it's a bit worrying. Looks dodgy, when you put everything together and I won't put nearly $700 out on this. Nothing against the OP though.

    • I actually asked for a refund too… Which they honoured

      • That may be true, but it's much better not to get into this type of transaction to begin with. Of course, it's only my opinion, and some are willing to take a risk like this.

        • Had I known, I wouldn't have and wouldn't have posted this deal, but I was unaware it was refurbished. I'll do my homework more thoroughly next time.

        • @ml17: Your intentions were good, and I did not suspect it. I did mention I had nothing against you in the first post. I only negged the deal so enough people would go have a look at the discussion and find out more about the reasoning behind the negative votes.

But there are of course a number of people who are willing to take risks in case of a great value deal, so it's still helpful for them. I do appreciate the time and efforts people put into researching for deals like this and posting it here, so thank you very much for that!

@CocaKoala: No worries at all. I understand where you're coming from and no offence was taken at all.

          Thank you for contributing!

I purchased an s7 edge from them, they sent me clearly two defective phones in row - one had a blotch of dead pixels on the screen, and the other had a scratched back and dead speakers.
Both had the letter 'B' engraved the bottom next to the charge port which samsung told me means they were factory rejects, and thus no warranty.

This is despite the phones being listed as new and in perfect condition.

But wait! they have the Aussie Flag and the Kangaroo on their logo, surely it's Aussie Retail Stock

      • The flag and the roo prove that the stock is local, and most 'informed' ebay buyers (like me) know this. Why would you be doubtful about this?

Next you'll be telling Santa isn't real.

this seller is dodgy as hell, avoid, honestly think this deal should be unpublished.

  • I bought my S7 from these guys under a similar deal a while ago. Did some digging and found out that it originated from Italy. Came in original packing but was either refurbished or used as a display model because it had a weird gash on the screen which was only visible in direct sunlight (probably from rebuffing the screen), otherwise it was cosmetically new. Anyways I kept the phone because I couldnt be bothered returning it. Its been a year and a half and it hasn't caused me any issues or a trip to the repair shop so atleast its reliable.

bought my Z5 last year and it was telstra branded
No issues and they delivered the same day which was good as my previous phone died from water damage

Submitted a report to have the seller remove the (AUS STOCK!) from the title… resolved.
    Dodgy

    Dodgy seller. Neg from me.

This listing and its seller are fraudulent

They've obviously purchased a shit load of Asian-targetted grey market phones, flashed the ROM (hence the re-seal) and then thrown in an adapter then hey Presto!

    Re-Sealed = Refurbished

  • Seller has many phones listed as "Aussie version" and jacked up their prices before the "sale" too (on many of their other phones). Not a trustworthy seller.

  • it appears fairly conclusive that this is a refurbished deal, very misleading form the seller !!

  • My friend bought a new note 5 from them and it was refurbished. There were very minor marks close to the speaker.

  • Smells like a duck and ducks smell bad. Sacrilege to say this [on this site] but spend $150 more for Aus stock and get a brand new phone with 24 months warranty. The S8 and S8+ are worth it, you won't regret it.

Stay away from these dodgy grey imports

Another nothing-against-OP neg due to dodgiest around 'Aussie model with no packaging' likely being a blatant lie and flashed ROM etc.

Thanks OP! The used LG G6 seems to be a good price with the code + TRS

  • Bought a Sony Xperia Z2 from these guys and it broke within a week, STAY AWAY
