15% off Biltong Jerky @ Biltong-to-Go

110
CHEERS

Just received the following code for discounted Biltong - South African style dried beef. Softer and more tender than jerky.
Add products to cart, use coupon code for a 15% off.
Postage & Handling - $9.99

My personal favourite the Chili Chutney stokkies (hard sticks) are out of stock. I recommend the Chilli Garlic biltong, which may require thirst quenching for some (preferably beer).

As a South African, I can highly recommend trying biltong. If you like Jerky, I'm pretty sure you will enjoy this more.

This is extremely expensive even after the 15% off.

Places like Ozrica sells it for $49.95 a Kilo. (http://ozricafoods.com.au/product/biltong/)

    • how's taste wise?

      Taste wise. How is it.

Although I'm getting $59.30 Bilton To Go. And with Ozrica $65.50 (price include delivery).

I'll go with Biltong To Go as I know their product is good.

Hi Boertjie, have you tried Biltong.com.au before?
Note that Ozrica shipping is $5 more expensive, and quality probably different.
Note that after the discount, the price is cheaper than Ozrica at $49.30 for 1kg, vs Ozrica's $54.30 if you factor in their $5 higher shipping!
Also, it's not clear if Ozrica uses preservatives or not, or the packet-mix spices,
wheres we are preservative-free and have our own propriety spice formula.
      Cheers

      • I can confirm that they mix own spices (like most of the biltong shops around Aussie), Quality is extremely good. I still buy from a couple of shops around Aussie and most are extremely tasty with maybe one or 2 that is cutting corners.

What I like best about Biltong2go is that I can buy a kilo of wet, unsliced, biltong and leave it in the freezer, then just take it out and slice as required.

      • All the shops do that. BUT making your own is still the best way of having good biltong.

This is great biltong. I usually buy whole, separate into 10-15cm pieces, vac seal and freeze. Lasts for ages without going dry out too much and there's less temptation to sit down and eat half a kg of beefy goodness.

    edit
I see I'm not the only one with this idea :)
