  • You sure it has HDR? Is it Fake HDR? I think this is a 2015 entry model 4K tv.

      • Just says HDR. Doesn't even say HDR 10. I'm assuming it's simulated HDR and not real HDR.

        • I think these are 8bit panels with some sort of HDR.

    • Its a 2017 Model.

      • I looked at this model last year at HN. The Sales guy told me it's cheap because it's from 2015. Maybe he's wrong, I dunno.

        • Last years had KU in the model name. Ie 75ku6000, its HN what would they know lol

  • This remote. I don't think the elderly people in my house will understand how to use it. Most of the buttons are missing. It's an OSD remote. Would be annoying even for me to use.

Will another Samsung TV remote be compatible with it? I have a 2012 series 6 TV (with 3D).

    • Our tv came with 2 remotes couple years ago? The button one works on our older lcd tv too for basic channels, volume etc so old controller should work on new tv, don't think ever tried though.

    • We've got a couple of Panasonics for which the remotes seem interchangeable. Also, having used phone apps for this a bit, it does seem like a manufacturer generally has a typical IR set they stick with.

I'd say it would likely work, though you could always just take yours to the store…

  • this would have been a better deal, still can be had for $2850

    • there're quite a number of complaints in that thread and on WP though

  • just note the CE dimming issue with certain modes you cant turn it off and it automatically dims the display depending on how much light is on the screen its really annoying to the point where i would liked to have it refunded if i noticed during the first month

    • ah I had a Sammy monitor that did that. Thankfully you could turn it off.

  • Price seems to be down a further $100. I'm getting $2545 delivered. Might just pull the trigger.

I went to HN and tried my old series 6 remote from 2012. It works. I just hope the delivery guys can help me lift it up onto the table.
