The relative monthly rates look quite competitive.

The "bonus voucher" conditions, however, are extremely unappealing……….$60 minimum spend + postage to receive a $13 discount. Pass.

Not really. It’s 2gb per month. Flop deal for me. Recent Kogan deals is the simpler price but for 3x the data, albeit its a years worth still is a lot better.

They use the Optus network btw.

  • Uses Optus network

  • Can you add expiry date 9/03/2018

    • Sure. I just wasn't sure if that was for the entire offer or for the vouchers itself.

With a $60 minimum spend for a ($13 discount) I don't think many people would even bother using them.

        • +1

@ash2000: True but if you look at it another way at least it's a 21.67% discount :)

        • +1

@IIMetalDragonII: not "at least" but "at most"

        • @IIMetalDragonII:

Yes, it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. …. But I think their pricing model is good enough without trying to gild the lily with these "bonuses".

Admittedly, the voucher values are much more appealing for the $89 plan.

Ends 9/03/2018 (unless extended or withdrawn

Needs to says voucher promo ends ….etc….etc. Reads as if the plan will end then.

Damn, just signed up to the Optus $30/month deal. Oh well, still a great deal. I thought Telstra would come out with something decent but alas nothing.

  • No one worries about the additional $10 per gig data charge? normally with prepaid you would just be capped at yours allowance data amount but with this plan you can easily go over

15GB is plenty for me! I think most of us would pop for this one. Besides… $10/GB is a pretty standard charge now and you can turn your data off at a certain point now anyway

    • just sign up using a spare debit card that has less than $10 in it. That's what I do with all the kogan and amaysim deal

      • down goes the credit rating?

        • This one sounds like a prepaid plan. Postpaid at this pricing is pretty poor in value

  • Was thinking I could get a new pair of Asic's every six months :P But it's a shame they split the vouchers up into 3

  • +3

I thought they meant those data allowances per month. Just in case anyone else is confused, its the data allowance per 90 days (was just an error on my interpretation, nothing to correct here)!

Sorry in advance if this is a dummy question, would i be able to use it overseas if this includes unlimited international calls? Or maybe since it Optus it will be available only in Australia?

    • Australia only unless it includes international roaming

  • Their $40 for 30GB prepaid looks to good to much pass up, any other recommendations from other networks? Only want data.

    • Depends how long you want the data to last and how much you need

      • I know that Optus has $10 for 15GB for 7days but that expires as it is a promotion only.

  • Good timing. Will port to this one after using kogan deal
