  • how do we use this receipt? Take it to EB or JB??

  • Geeze these have depreciated so much probably coz they are crap

  • what's wrong with them??? why are they crap?

    • do a google search on them Vs. the original PSP
      there many pros/cons to each…

PSP go no UMD and have to get games via their PSP network etc..

      • thanks mate, will do

  • +1

i believe they are sold out in nsw anyway (according to whirlpool)

    • +2

gees…so why would does the OP still post here…. got me excited for a split second… (sigh)

      • Because australia is much bigger than just NSW

        • also probably bigger than SA & WA (as they were also sold out - according to posts below) LOL

  • do these come with the 10 free downloadable games?

To qualify for this offer, you must be 18 years or over and you must have purchased a PSPgo system in one of the following countries on or after 1 April 2010: Australia,

    • as far as I know all PSPgos come with the 10 free games vi adownload ofcourse.

  • i want one

  • wtf $50 surely not?

ps: the last post in that whirlpool thread was on friday!

  • All gone in WA

  • Called bankstown store. and the nice lady said, "We don not stock game consoles". I told her you guys have PS3 at least? she is like" We do not stock game consoles, you can call EB games".

    • +9

hahaha next time, you should ask her "Do you stock toys?"…

  • +4

Just called Chatswood store (NSW), they said they havent had them in stock for like a year!!
Guess the OP was very very very lucky

  • +1

    SA sold out

  • +3

Such crap, they've been sold out for months people - do NOT bother calling up ToysRUs.

    • Well clearly they were NOT sold out for months if the OP just bought the last one at Pacific Fair .. might be sold out now, true.

Sorry, was suppose to add Sold Out in VIC

        • +2

Well some would argue QLD is always a bit behind ;-)

  • +1

Sold out everywhere before this was posted

  • VIC sold out last week according to this: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1590605&p…
"All sold out (PSP Go, PS3, DS Lite) except for the PS2, which is also $50"

Neg, sick of these 'deals' that are impossible to get.

    • +1

They were only trying to help out! Not worth a neg!!!

      • +2

If there's no stock the yes it is

  • -1

Just called my local store, Mt Gravatt, all sold out.. lol

    • guys make him break it all, $499.40 loss
i'll +ve your comment to leave one unbroken and give to me :)

      • -2

Great! now I got to fix the one I broke.

  • Anyone gonna try get Big W, EB GAMES or someone like Harvey Norman to price match the receipt for $49?

    • Read this for info on people trying to price match similar offer on the DS: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/35858

    • All price matches only work if the item is in stock and not a clearance item. I would say you're out of luck on both counts. $49.95 is obviously way below wholesale.

      • the pricematch for ds works @ kmart and big w and David Jones atm

        • what do you mean? Just by bring the receipt from the OP? would it work for the PSP go?

      • People got price matches with the DS even though that was pretty much sold out almost everywhere like this, I figured I may as well post this up too

  • Anyone with a Harvey Norman or Big W Receipt that they can post for a PSP GO @ $49? I will have a shot at getting it done too

  • -2

Don't even bother! The GO is reallly crap! I prefer the normal PSP.

    • But for $49 it cant be that crap

      • -1

Trust me, you are better off keeping that money than wasting your money on that crap!

  • +1

    hmmmmm

  • i went to harvey norman and dick smiths but they both refused to price match….said they dont price match toys r us…

    • Sounds like policy made up as they like on the spot!

Interesting not one complete receipt posted yet that can be used to even attempt price matching…

  • I'll neg it also, as the description does say, "i just got the last one at…" post the receipt dude, and all others who actually got it for 50.00 or under, help the rest that are interested!
