I'm about to piss when see this thread as I just bought DS lite on weekend from them but just relief to see them exclude game consoles. Though I lost $32 for a sec. :)
No storewide sales include consoles EVER. They also exclude gift vouchers and cigarettes and most often ipods

They have 15 % off all the time. Soemtimes is more than 15% too so this is not really a big deal.
Last time they had it was back in November so definitely not "all the time". I agree that special deals can have much better discount, but store-wide discount is good to buy items that don't usually have sales.

I just bought a nintendo DS for $169. Not sure why its included in the 15% storwide promotion as I thought a nintendo DS is a game console. Anyway - more than welcome to try your luck and see whether your local Target sells for the same price. FYI - the target I went to was Macquarie Shopping Centre in Sydney.
