Bought this when it was $5.99USD. Excellent for that price. It's a little battery hungry though. Those Ladda batteries help.

    • any idea how many hours you get out of it?

      • +2

I'll wait for that price, am I ozbargainer or not :)

    • how many hours/days did you get? I've had 3 up since september (i think) and another 4 up since november.

  • Great lights. Although I bought 3 more from gearbest and have had issues with delivery with no result so far. They're lost in Korea.

    • Why lost in Korea? It's normally direct shipped to you

      • no idea. thats what the tracking info says

  • Roughly how often do you have to replace the batteries? We talking monthly or weekly? thinking of placing it in our rear bedroom corridor which doesn't get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day.

    • I haven't changed mine yet in around 3 months so far. But mine barely comes on as we rarely use the back part of the house when it's dark. So maybe 1-4 times each night for a minute each time? It'll all be very dependent on how much it triggers

    • Mines in the bathroom. Used very often(at least 3-6 times a day. Got around 4 months with eneloops.

  • Thanks OP, just grabbed a couple 🙂

  • Thank you just ordered 3

  • They website does a good job at yodelling add on if you shop for like $40 or more so keep that in mind as it only makes the add on like $3-$4 etc if keen !!

Yeelight are much better. Inbuilt battery and more brightness. This requires 3 eneloop.

    • +4

Much better? Well each to their own. I have this one and it is quite useful at night. This requires 3 batteries, yours has an inbuilt battery of only 750mA. You are not comparing oranges with oranges. They both have their uses.

Downside is how hard it is to replace the inbuilt battery once it is dead.

      • By that point it when the yeelight is dead then there will be a better model to replace. Maybe cheaper. I have both and currently I prefer rthe yeelight.

how much brighter? i feel the Xiaomi Mijia one is the perfect brightness for our hallway…i have one on every door though.

"Technology Paint the Life Splendid" 👩🏽‍💻🎨❤️😊

    • I love that line! I think they do this kinda thing on purpose

    • Designs Originate from life!

  • How bright it is? I mean true lumen.
I am looking for a bright night light for my bedroom, which can detect motion.
Previous I have an Aldi detachable one (connected to AC), but it stopped working 6 months. I miss it a log.
All the night lamps I find so far are too dim.

    Thanks

    • Well, depends how bright is bright for you. If you had a normal light in another room and came to the other room you wouldn't see a thing until your eyes get adjusted, otherwise in the dark it is bright enough to see the surroundings so you don't go blindly looking for a light switch if you need to. Not for reading a book.

    • but it stopped working 6 months.

At least you got your money back as it was still under warranty.

      • Sorry, typo mistake. It stopped working 6 months ago, after 2 year service.

  • Thank you bought one

Bought 1 before, anyone know is it possible to make the light turn on longer before the light auto turn off?

    • +1

Nope, just keep moving if you want it to stay on. The only setting is bright and brighter which is hidden under cover.

      • +1

Does it stay on indefinitely if there's movement? I have a Beams light and it goes dark for a few seconds between cycles, which is annoying when mid-stream.

        • As long as there is movement. Just needs movement every 15 seconds, or it will go off.

  • Can i put this light in my house front door or it is more like only for bedrooms.

    • I wouldn't recommend to put in your house front door - someone may steal it :)
It's good for bedroom or hallway or toilet.

  • I wish this was tied into the 'smart' part of the network.. e.g. wifi or zigbee. So you could track how often it's actually used and perhaps get some idea of the battery status as well.

    • you're getting too smart :)

    • +1

you could track how often it's actually used

So every time you walk past it goes "Aziz light!"

  • Note only one per coupon.

  • Pulled the trigger on 3 :) Thx!

  • What would be good is motion-detecting 4W bayonet led globes.

Thanks, picked up another two. These are great, much better than the IKEA equivalent. On the low lumen setting in high use areas they last and last.. after about 3 months I'm yet to change the batteries on mine, and it gets triggered a few times a day. Also, the light sensor is nicely sensitive, as soon as the ambient light exceeds what the light would put out (which is quite low) then it won't turn on, saving battery.

  • Can we get a good deal please on the Yeelight USB rechargeable version? (https://www.gearbest.com/night-lights/pp_699179.html)

Mine arrived today, i'm surprised that it was shipped from Sydney
