Title is pretty self-explanatory. Last I checked, the electricity rate on a single rate meter is 34.309 cents including GST., which ends up being 24.016 cents after the 30% discount.
I edited the last part since people believed that 34 cents was the rate after the discount. My bad, still new at this.

I saw that,
Origin is 22.5 or so after 25% off, though some got the 28% off.
The new entrant Alinta(NSW) is interesting, seems like they're going to make Origin stay competitive
Every time I've compared they've generally come up ahead in Sydney or close enough not to bother switching. Is there a better recommendation for time of use billing (peak/shoulder/off peak) in NSW?

id hate to imagine Dodo, after using their internet service for one month it had the worst reliability ever.

Been with dodo electricity for over 5 years. Can’t rememeber ever having power go down.
They are just a retailer sending you the bill. Nothing to do with infrastructure.

I've been with Dodo electricty and internet for over 3 years - the only internet outages were related to the poor quality copper lines in my area - so I lodged a complaint with Dodo and Telstra techs came out to investigate then fix the issue once they found where the fault was.
If internet is bad in your area, most likely it is poor cabling - either in the street or in your house.
We should ban electricity deals without prices for being meaningless spam.

Likewise with time of use, its about 10% higher than the Ausgrid rates by AGL/Origin, so it means roughly only a 20% discount (I cant be bothered in working out the exact true %)

Yes. You can ring and get the higher discount applied to your account. That is what I did.

I haven't had issue with Dodo electricity, I even switched away from them and switched back to them over the years. No issues.
Having said all that, always compare rates as Dodo may not be cheapest depending on individual circumstances.

The electricity and daily supply charge rates are much higher than the ones that I checked months ago. It will end up with $50 more(per quarter) for me.
This is a dodgy way to increase price but it's a good way to do marketing. Did they just hire a pricing/marketing manager from Click Energy?

I made up a little spreadsheet when deciding to switch from Dodo. Just plugged-in the new offer of 30% discount, and it is still more expensive than the Energy Australia plan I moved onto.
Bonus with the Energy Australia plan is 2 years fixed usage rate.
They certainly could be a-holes, and ramp up the daily supply charge, but I doubt that would fly for very long.

Anyone can share their experience regarding rates offered by the AGL retention team in NSW? AGL website offers only 23% electricity and 19% gas . Thanks.

Move from AGL, AGL NSW generally have been the worse of the big companies for a long time.
They made some bad investments 5? years back and have been paying(you have) it back since
Successfully negotiated 27% off gas usage with energy Australia, also on 30% off elect usage. Needed to talk to their exit team to get the offer, so not sure about new customers, but give it a crack!

I rang as usual and said "competitor is offering 25%, I'm on 19%, I want 25% and the OS callcenter operator said some rubbish about offering me 15 or 17%, which I had a somewhat nasty response to… then I said "So you're telling me if I decide to leave EA today and go with Dodo, 17% is the best anybody can offer me?" - at which point I was put through to the Aus callcenter and Kelly was nice enough to offer 27% straight up.
tldr: Yes say you'll leave, and want to speak to the Australian-based exit team.
