… But it says on the first line Australia and New Zealand Residents can purchase a 4-Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Ticket at a 2-Day price for a limited time only.

This is very much available in Australia. Check the links that say 'Limited time offer for Australian Residents – 4 Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Ticket for the price of 2!' or 'Australia and New Zealand Residents can purchase a 4-Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Ticket at a 2-Day price for a limited time only.'

I'm not of the difference between the two links, but they are available in Australia (and NZ) only.

For those interested, we had Flight Centre beat the same Expedia offer for Disneyland by around $100 for an upcoming trip with 2 adults and 2 kids, and I assume other travel agents will do the same if you ask.

Also of interest might be the prices for Universal Studios in LA. I am sure the Expedia price for a 1-day admission was cheaper than what we could buy direct, and Flight Centre price matched it for us. We went through Flight Centre as we had booked a few other things through them and it was convenient to have everything booked with one agent.

Now we play the waiting game for our trip to start. Maybe we'll see you over there?

    • I'm just back from the US a month ago. I didnt go to Disneyland, only a short stop in LA on my way to skiing in Utah but i did go to Universal. We stayed in Hollywood and the train/tram system there was great. Very cheap and the best way to get to Universal studios on the Red line (each of the train lines is colour coded). You literally walk out of the station and Universal has a free bus type thing waiting to pick you up and drop you off at the entrance to the amusement park.

    • Do you think they'd be willing to cover January?

  • Hopefully someone may find it useflu

I hope they find it useful instead!

Anyone going for longer can grab this: http://magicalmouseholidays.com.au/Disneyland/10-day-disneyl…
10 days for just over $500

    • Or just ring qantas holidays (viva holidays from memory) direct and ask for the 10 day park hopper. No need to go through and 3rd parties. Used this multiple times. It's also closer to $600 plus with the Aussie dollar for adults at the moment.

  • So this ticket gives you unlimited entries to Disneyland and adventure land for 4 days. Is that right ?

  • Good for you! It’s so hard to get Disney at a discount.
If your kids are young, Legoland is definitely worth the trip - the lines are much, much shorter. Seaworld is also fantastic - it’s about three times the size of Seaworld here.
Our kids also loved going to a baseball game in LA. You can get really cheap tickets online - about $7 - $10.
You need to break Disney up a bit - it’s intense!!
    ENJOY!

  • I wonder if they have the same deal for Disneyworld (Florida)?

The size of Disneyworld is amazing. I wasn't sure how much , but doing a search I found:

DISNEY WORLD IS OVER 40 SQUARE MILES, ABOUT THE SIZE OF SAN FRANCISCO AND TWICE THE SIZE OF MANHATTAN
Disney World (which includes 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Disney Quest, Disney Springs and 21 hotels) is over 25,000 acres.
By comparison, the whole Disneyland resort area (which includes the 2 parks, 3 hotels and Downtown Disney) is about 500 acres.

    • It is huge. You can spend 2 days at each area. There are loads of theme parks in the same area too so some solid weeks can be spent in Orlando! Great times…
