Had a couple of attempts at the code and adding to cart, eventually worked in incognito mode.

Seems like a good discount for click and collect.

  • Any deal for q1000?

One thing to keep in mind (I'm not sure if this is obvious/common knowledge but I didn't know) is that these only come with 2 x grills. If you want a solid hotplate for anything that can't go on a grill you'll need the ~$80 extra plate. Having said that, this is a good deal and once you've cooked a thick steak on a Weber you'll be amazed you ever used anything in the past.

    • Nothing beats a charcoal bbq mate

Not going to argue on taste of a charcoal v LPG bbq, but I have absolutely 0 interest in getting coals going every time I want to cook.

        • indeed nothing beats charcoal but I need to eat in 15min… thus the Weber Q is my go-to for steak.

Don't waste your money on the solid plate. Keep the double grill on there and you can just slap one of the non-stick liners on top when you want to do an egg or veggies. Alternatively, you can get a Weber breakfast plate (around $45) and that can sit on top of the grill.

Remember when you order anything Weber branded you pay an extra 20% on what you could find elsewhere third party.

Your biggest consideration should be the lack of a thermometer you get with this model and the shorter lid as well. The 3200 has the higher lid and thermometer but can only be purchased from a Weber specialist store.

I've got the 3200 and wouldn't change it for the world. Wish i didn't buy the third solid plate that's all…

  • Preheat for 10 mins is a must for cooking steak on this.

Oil salt and pepper then 3.5 mins either side. No one can mess up a steak on this bad boy. Perfection every time

    • How thick is the steak you are cooking
