      I doubt anyone has had much success claiming via this warranty

      I own an older belkin one, I'm not just a naysayer. I own it for some protection, it's just that i doubt the warranty will be honoured. Too easy to get out of.

    These are good, like the Thor boards. Watch the conditions on that connected equipment warranty though. They only cover equipment connected directly to it, so you can't have a UPS, or daisy chain another power board in between.
