Wanted to purchase a second of these for a dual setup and thought this was a good enough price to share at $206.40 delivered.

Loved the first one I've been using and would recommend for lower-mid range budget.

  • This seller has some bad reviews lately. Anyway…

    • Will report back if I receive my order.. Fingers crossed!

  • Keep in mind that the monitor is only 60Hz and has a 4ms response time. Other than that, still presents great value for a 27" AND made by Samsung no less.

  • After a cheap 27" monitor to use as dual setup. Will see how you go :)

    • Came in yesterday - ezpz.

If you increase your budget to $249 dollars, you can buy a Viewsonic VX2757-MHD.

It would get you 75hz display with 1ms refresh rate, also with Freesync support. Colours are holy-crap-it's-bad out of the box and require tweaking to make it look decent however.

    • I have one of these and yes, colours are crap. How do you tweak settings? By installing drivers or just change the in-built settings? TIA.

You can use some online calibration to get decent settings but you need a hardware calibrator to get proper settings. http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/ is good but to tweak the colour settings you really can only do it by eye unless you invest in expensive calibration hardware.

  • $299 gets you a viewsonic 2k 27inch

    • 2k is 1080p.

      • Technicaly correct. But when people talk 2K these days they mean 1440p.

  • how about this Phillips from shopping express $198

    • Phillips is a TN panel. PLS is much better.

  • Does anyone rate this bad boi?
    2k, 31", 5ms…

My sister owns that one. It's a great price for a big 32" monitor at 2560x1440. Pixel density and screen real estate is great at that size and you can even get away with not using scaling (unlike 4k). The picture quality is decent but I noticed the viewing angles were really bad but it's a VA panel so that's to be expected. Great all around general use monitor.

      • Thanks Yuri!
