I have been unable to confirm whether or not the service will require a recharge to 'remain active' to meet the 60 day requirement after the initial 35 days has elapsed.
I am also unable to provide information regarding a date the sim must be activated by in order to be eligible to receive the cashback.

I apologise for any confusion I have caused. I will update as more information becomes available.

        Does that mean that after activating the SIM card for prepaid, I have to recharge again (since prepaid crdits only last for 35 days) to qualify for the cashback (60 days criteria)?

        Ok, so what's the minimum that has to be spent to get the $12 cashback? It says $20 for a $40 starter pack, but that expires in 35 days (25 days short of the 60 needed to qualify for cashback).

      Yep, after purchasing (lured by cash rewards) i got nothing back…they were asking for way too many detials to claim cash back ( though i went on voda site fron cash rewards site…) Never used cashreward after that …and to make matter worst…i had to speak with 6 different people at voda (avg time spent was 1.5 hr in all) to activate my mobile broadband..and even worst didnt even got bonus data

        Yes I had problems with my Vodafone activation too. It took a few calls and visits to two separate Vodafone shops. As I said, I'm still using the previous offer but I'm unlikely to go back to them again after it expires, unless it's a Godfather offer on here.

    Two things..
    1. Vodafone at my work has zero to one bar of reception; can't use data or voice in this condition :(
    2. Cashrewards recently started cancelling my valid purchases done through ebay and other stores, they refuse to give me a valid reason as to why..

    for those reasons, I'm out.

    doesn't this means to get the $12 dollars cashback, you have to pay $20 for starter pack, then $40 dollars for recharge to stay on the network for at least 60 days?

    so spend 60-12 = 48 dollars for 2 months on vodafone doesn't look attractive at all. i rather do my usual sim hopping for 10 dollars each month.

    I am just going to make a calculated assesment here re the 60 day active account. I am pretty sure that you won't need to re-charge after the 35 days as Vodafone sims stay active for 90 days after activation.

    So this offer would mainly suit people looking for a second burner sim/number mainly for data usage/cheap international calls and also a second back-up phone number.

    For the monthly porter ( sim sluts ), unless your happy for the half price $20/double data ( if activate and opt in on or before 10/04/2018 ), this cashback offer will not be paid if you port out of Vodafone before the 60 days after activation.

    Also for the people wanting only data after April 10/2018 ( looking at all the Free Kogan XL users like me lol ), you can get 10GB data only but expires in 30 days. So instead of the 9GB/35 day exp. for the data combo you could activate for 10 GB/30 day exp.

      There is no indication that the sim must be activated by a certain date to receive cashback.

      I doubt the sim would even require activation to be eligible for cashback.

        Yes, I agree. Although I am not 100% sure myself on this, pretty sure you're right, just don't want to lead people the wrong way if it's not the case and get the blame for getting their cash-back not approved.

        I purchased yesterday and $12 went in my CR as pending for approval for the 20th. June 2018, so depending on how good the Vodafone system communicates with CR, technically they have enough time to verify if sim is activated and remaining active for at least 60 days. Personally I don't think their system is that good, as there is no mention anywhere in the T&C or fine print on needing to activate by a certain time.

        I think you misunderstood my comment above re the activation date, as I was referring to the cut of date to opt in for the double data which is on the 10th. of April 2018.

        Just as a funny note, yesterday when I was asking Live Chat whether we can activate that particular sim for data/calls or just for data only in modem ( the new sims look different and do not mention that detail anymore ), they said we can. But then I asked details regarding this CR offer and they quickly bailed and transferred me to a supposed different department. After waiting for ten minutes to be transferred, got cut off lol.

        You need to port an existing number to Kogan and pay with the voucher to get the free 30 days.

      Not doubting you, but just wondering how you know these codes will only apply to porting in and not as new numbers?

      On a side note, two of my free codes came up as Not Valid when I tried to activate them as new numbers also from this latest current offering for the first time for me for Kogan ( will have to make another call to Kogan to sort this out after reading that they can issue a new Working Code, Hopefully anyway ).

    Does anyone know if we need to activate these sims within 30 days of purchase to get the cashback like the Vodafone $50 data sims that were posted for $25 and $15 cashback?

    Also, if we activate these for data only/10GB/30 day expiry for $40 sim, would we still get $12 cashback, or only $9 like listed currently on the cashrewards page.
