          REGULAR USB AREA

  • Which store?

  • -8

Did you actually get one? This will be moved to the insufficient quantity thread.

    • +1

      Yes bought 2

  • Well spotted OP. I'll look out for this.

    • +3

Thanks, this is actually my 2nd post only. Not sure if I am doing this right.

"This will be moved to the insufficient quantity thread."

I don't know if this needs to be there, as I cannot confirm for other store.

      • +1

The Officeworks website is unreliable about stocks and I can't find this product there. That printed sign suggests it isn't store specific.

  • WA is sold out :/ Can someone buy me one and I'll pay postage? :D

    • +3

2 left in O'connor, 1 in Malaga and 10 left in Joondalup

      • How did you find out?

        • +5

This may be of use to you if you are looking for stock at a specific store.

      • I went to Malaga and couldn't see anything?

      • Just called Joondalup and put 2 on hold. They have 2 left from what the girl could find. Thanks!

        • +4

I'll give her a call in the morning, and refer her to your charming earlier post.

Hopefully you will be driving from Mandurah.

        • @jackspratt:

I love how you and all the other neggers think I have no right to be pissed off that she blatantly lied to me and told me no one in WA had stock (not the first time for Malaga). You guys are the typical retail staff I aspire not to be.

        • @nurries:

Being "pissed off" is a choice.

You have no right to be abusive ie calling someone a bitch (now unpublished) for having made a mistake.

        • +1

          @jackspratt:

I have every right to call someone a bitch especially when you can't identify the person. A mistake would be checking the computer and telling me a store is showing 2 in stock but they're actually sold out. Being a lazy shit is immediately telling me you're sold out statewide after spending less than 10 seconds "checking" on the computer. Big difference between the two.

        • -1

          @nurries:

I see Joondalup is now out of stock. Hopefully you missed out.

          @jackspratt:

Of course you don't reply to my actual comment. Truth hurts, we know.

I guess you'll never know. Just to piss you off further, I put in a complaint and a compliment (for the staff member who actually did their job) and will be picking up a $20 gift card for my "troubles" next week :)

    Just a caution -
    I have 2 of these I bought about a year ago. I don't use them because -
-The Micro usb side doesn't fit my Samsung Galaxy S7 and S6. I have to push extremely hard to get it to fit. Its a standard port, don't know why it seems too big to fit.

    • The USB 3 end is metal and since the connector is the drive (i.e. there is no plastic case/cover) it is very sharp. Combine a tight fit with sharp metal edges, means its easy to cut yourself. I have cut myself twice in the short time I used it.

Both USB drives exhibit the same tight fit. Maybe a design issue ?

Nothing a bit of a sandpaper can't fix.

Adelaide Keswick - I got one for $9!

Girl said 2 left, I didn't broden it.
One left - get the card off the shelf, and go to the counter. Good luck to that one person

    • Well done.

At the time when I was SA Branch Officeworks Trinity Gardens, I saw atleast 15 slips there.

My guess is, got to be quick before they go. They do close at 9pm.

    • +2

Can confirm, 1 left in Keswick. Good on you.

    • +1

I upvoted you the moment you said you didn't do a Broden

    • Can you drop by, buy it and post it to me in an envelope……? Legitimately. My officeworks rep was being a bit suspect today when I asked about it. Knew exactly what I was talking about and didn't want to check their stock behind the counter. :(

      • Dude, you're over a week late. The deal has come and gone

        • Yeh yeh I knew that, wishful thinking though. I've been putting off backing up my phone for more than purely because I don't have a laptop anymore and these things would be perfect for the task.

          Ahh well, all good!

    • Keswick has 1.

    • Tried parafield and Elizabeth?

  • +2

1 usb left in Liverpool officeworks have to ask at desk.

  • No stock of any in Greenway Canberra - the had soups but apparently haven't sold then in a while

    • +3

Understandably. Couldn't imagine $9 soup would be all that popular at Officeworks.

      • Soup is delicious, meant slips though!

  • +1

All 64Gb are sold out but they got plenty 32Gb same version for $9 I know it sucks to get half for the same price but still a decent deal

  • Is the Exceria Pro SDXC a full size SD or a MicroSD card?

Tags say MicroSD but can't find why it would be micro?

    • The tag is the USB. SDCX is a full size SD.

      • The tag is the USB.

It clearly states "MicroSD Card" ??

        • Ignore the OzB tag, it's wrong.

        • @nurries: Ok no worries, might want to remove that then to avoid confusion :)

        • @pennypincher98:

          I didn't post the deal :)

        • +2

@nurries: Oh nevermind I thought you were a mod!! Haha just really active and helpful!

  • I got the last memory card at Trinity, didn't see any USB's, thanks OP!

    • thanks dude, saved my time…

    • Your welcome

  • +2

My wish is for location tracking to be turned on for all OzB so we can heatmap all the trips bu OzB users to Officeworks. Would be nice to see all those that went to have a look.

    • Agreed.

    • And the normally dead phones on Friday night start ringing with people asking the same question lol.

    • Thats what google maps is for. People can share their trip. I think even Waze can do it but not sure but yeah and at the end of the day we can count how much money was spent on petrol/diesel

    • with these sorts of deals, we're all in heat

  • +1

Took the last SDXC at garden city. Anohter ozbargainer got the last USB at garden city too. Cashier says no stock at other Brisbane stores that he can see as it's clearance. Thanks OP

    • I got one SDXC and one USB at Oxley store. The cashier he held some in his pocket I can see.

the 32GB USB is $9 too

      • Were there any more left at oxley?

        • Yes just ask the lady standing at the door, she put them in the basket at the clearance section, not on the shelf.
