  • Awesome! Started looking for something like this today.
Thanks very much for the heads up. Just grabbed one with C&C.

  • Thanks OP!

  • have a question, is 1gb ram enough for Google's Android 5.1 (Lollipop)?

      barely

Aunt had one of these, was slow, unreliable trash. Not worth $41.

      • +1

could be good for just a wifi tethering modem

        • Considering you can get USB WiFi sticks that are designed for such a purpose for less, sticking with this being useless trash.

    • You are definitely going to hit the walls and choke with many apps on 1GB RAM - wouldn't recommend

Not a fan of the screen on the one I used. Had a very poor horizontal viewing angle, meaning the screen appears slightly differently to each eye, which makes it uncomfortable to look at in a way that's hard to describe. Maybe 'fatiguing' is the right word.

  • Any chance I can jailbreak this to run a Kogan 32GB data sim on hotspot?

Is jailbreaking possible on phones like this and would it allow me to use this as a hotspot/SIM for backup internet Wifi?

  • They mostly come out alright. Mostly.
BUT, for example, you can't have Khan Academy (website) AND a calculator (website nor app) open at the same time… choose wisely.

They’re not worth even $41. Had one for a bit given as an in between phone when the Note 7 debacle was happening. One word for this phone. Horrific.

  • Price increased to $139 now.
