  • I wish I came across a HN salesperson that giving. There all up-selling bastards at my local.

  • Whats the specs like? hard to find on google.

  • Intel Core i3 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, DVD burner, 15.6" screen, Windows 7 Home Premium.

i can't honestly ever see this as a $999 laptop?

an i3 with integrated graphics… really?

    • Depends on what you want it for. Not everyone needs a dedicated graphics card.
But definitely agree - doesn't sound like a current $999 RRP. Comparable notebooks @ around $800 at DSE before 15% sales discount and then another 15% cash back for Paypal - which brings them down in direct competition with the deal you got e.g. Toshiba Satellite L640/01H for $579, Toshiba Satellite C650/01E $561 and Acer eMachine eME732-372G50Mn $579.

Still - a pretty good buy. Plenty of great offers going around. The main thing is you are happy with the deal you got and you get lots of enjoyment and use out of it. Enjoy :)

  • Intel Core i3 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, DVD burner, 15.6" screen, Windows 7 Home Premium. LG225PA. according to Lasoo catalogue

Not bad, but I would say the MLN Lenova deal looked a tad better for $100 less still (no bad though).

I think I'd much rather have this HP then the Lenovo even if it's a few dollars more. HP Pavilions have better keyboards (if you don't need a numberpad).

Not sure of full specs on the HP yet so can't give a definitive opinion.

      • What colour is the DV6-3203TU?

  • Intel Core i3 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, DVD burner, 15.6" screen, Windows 7 Home Premium. LG225PA.
Price was already in the system and is one of their sales items. We actually purchased one for work and then another one in the same day. Using it now and love it, highly recommended.

    • Thanks for the post mate! Any chance that you can provide a better scan of your full receipt with Harvey Norman printed on it?

Also, does it have an HDMI port? Thanks!

  • What graphics adapter does it have?

    • Most likely an Intel HD Graphics GPU.

  • Got one yesterday, the store only had a demo left so they gave it to me - asked for a bag - but salesperson wouldn't give me one =\

Later that day - salesperson calls up and says they didn't wipe the demo computer/there was a dvd inside so they upgraded me to a DV6-3205TX (http://catalogues.harveynorman.com.au/portal/offerdetails/hp…)

    But still no bag :(

    • was the upgrade free?

  • Yep free upgrade to the core i5/500G HD

  • Anyone got any links to any independent reviews?

  • ENprinte, thats really good free upgrade to I5.. Does the DV6-3205tx is brand new?

Do you mind post the receipt in the forum or send it to me to email

    Thanks
