    Never received my order from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/360540. Tried contacting Zapals multiple times still no replies. I ended up escalating the case to Paypal. Disappointed to say the least.

      hmmm.. I received 4 items last week which I ordered in Jan/Feb month .. may be yours still on the way..
      I think Zapals expected delivery is 30-60 days .. it will reach sooner or later.. :)

      Received in Brisbane from that deal only last week. Pretty normal delivery time in my experience.

      Product is OK for price. Only 10 leds is pretty useless for anything.
      Just have got longer strings with proper battery holder (use for Eneloops) for about same price in another deal. This one includes less suitable 2 button batteries. Am modifying to USB power & keep batteries for other uses.

      Have lodged few complaints about faulty products or not as described (missing batteries that were stated to be included). Got only 1 response and that had nothing to do with my complaint. Am raising PayPal disputes with failure to respond as major reason.

      Agreed. Zapal service has dropped off in the last few months. I've had several ordered items not received.

      Also, received a faulty item, but the first response to my query was a generic response, then no further responses.

    Those CR2032's will cost you more than the unit cost to replace. The same thing with a 2 x AA holder on the end will get a just thru 2 nights on eneloops as an in tent light when camping with the kids as a night light.

      Batteries are 5 for $1 delivered on eBay as soneome posted in another deal.
      I bought longer string with 3 x AA Battery holder in a deal for similar price a while back - much more convenient. Am connecting old USB cable to power these.

          Am using plug pack in fixed installation😀
          Using these to light large analog clock & will also act as nightlight for elderly relative. I'm not paying the electricity bill.

          Measured consumption of 10 led string = 125ma @6V. So 10000mAh (@3.7V) powerbank (=7400mAh @5V) = 59hrs max use.

          Would want more than 2 Eneloops (2x1.2V) to power these. I used 3.

          So battery use is not recommended!

    [Update after using & reason for neg]
    Just gently moving wires, 2 LEDs failed.
    Left on for few hours, 3 more LEDs failed.
    In another set, arrived with only 9 LEDs working.

    Zapals have not responded to my 3 previous complaints about other products, so will be lodging PayPal complaint.
    Absolute rubbish!
