Normal price, bought some last week and current price on website.

  • Normal price is $28? Damn that’s expensive…

    • this may not be full price… can not find the actual RRP :(
so removed the 1/2 price line..

Coles and Woolies seem to slowly hike the original price over time to the point where they can sell it "half price" at what the product is actually worth. Never pay full price, the whole thing is a scam.

      • +3

True. It goes like this for lots of products.

      • Nar, OP just assumed its a saving of $14. Its not at all, there was no inflating of price.

  • Was the regular price at BigW, but it seems to have been deleted from their range. Looks like Coles has picked up the contract.

    • may be.. they still have $9 for 18 Rolls

      • Just 10 more sheets per roll than the OP.

        • BIGW cat in mail $7 this week

          @Gearup:

Thanks, but still nearly 39c/roll. I'm looking for <33c.

        • @tightwad:
See my post below there is cheaper

        • @Gearup:

          Just did and replied.

          Cheers, mate!

Costs 2.2c to wipe your ass if you use 10 sheets

    • One square folded and back to front.

      • Use both sides - save 50%

    • And make sure to only do ur no.2's during off-peak water usage times ;)

As I always say: "Always shit on the boss's clock".
        Saves you even more
        :)

        • Joke at my work is 'off to earn an easy $5' as someone walks out of the office door down the hall.

        • @DarwinBoy:

$15 bucks an hour!? I'd get another job mate.

        • Boss earns a dollar, I earn a dime,
          That's why I sh*t on company time!

        Haha thanks :)
Actually if you use 5% off eGift cards it'll cost you 2.09c per 10 sheets :)

  • If you use reuseable nappies you dont need this

    • +3

Dude ROI on reusable nappies is crazy good. People need to get in on that shit. Bit awkward cleaning it in the office toilets, but it's all about saving dat cash bruh.

      • I wear reusable nappy 24/7 but I don't know why the guys at office gave me funny look when I clean the nappy at the office kitchen sink.

        • That's very strange and rude of them. No idea why would they do that!

        • @FIVEDOLLAR:
Obvious workplace discrimination again incontinence - sue employer.

  • Kiss my ass!

    • Thanks. Just what I was looking for. It was being sold at WW, then cancelled. It's not the best, but great at that price.

      • I haven't seen it at WW, only the 48 pack for $15 a little while ago. But yeah $7 for 24 pack of 3 ply is best value atm.

        • It was the bigger packs. $10 on clearance iirc. Could be wrong….

  • +1

Warning that the pack is huge! (Physically)

It's much larger than a slab on soft drink, enough to occupy the front seat of the car. Thankfully though, it has a handle on the side.

  • Is this better than Aldi's Toilet issue?

  • Regular home brand price is $0.12/100 sheets. $0.10 higher for this one - worth it if quality is 50% better.

  • This is the normal price for this line, it's just not a regularly stocked product. It comes in 3-4 times a year and lingers for 3-4 weeks until completely sold out. Occasionally stores will reduce it marginally to clear it completely.

If you can't make it to Coles but still want to experience the same lovely softness next to your nether regions, and at a reduced price, Woolworths has the 8 pack at 50% off

    Quilton Classic Toilet Tissue 3 ply White 180 sheets 8pk - $3.50

    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/158767/qui…

That works out as $0.44 per roll versus $0.39 for the Coles 36 pack

And yes, it's on special at this price at least once a month…

  • My local IGA has it for $13.68.

After the big TP deals of Ozbargain history I’m down to two packs left…
It’s been a great 2-3 years and now I need more I wish I filled 2 garages with TP instead of one..

  • +1

    SHIT that's cheap!

  • How much is it per 100 sheets? That’s the number you need to br looking at. Aldi comes in at 12c per 100 sheets.

    • +1

It is $0.22 per 100 sheets

  • I always buy Quilton but last few times I noticed they aren't as soft as before. So I tried coles SO SOFT and was surprised how better they were.
I will also be trying Aldi brand as Quilton changed there paper supplier or something.

The Aldi 3 ply 24 pack for $8 is great - Once I've tried it I've never looked anywhere else. Always the same low price…

  • Like ozy, I've only just run out of TP after the WW deal a couple of years ago.

Those were the days. I ended up paying $0.03/roll!

    • weren't those meant to only last you two years not three, or have you been using both sides of the paper? :)

  • So this is not a shit deal?

  • Props to the first person to post a pic with 100 rolls … so 3 packs … c'mon OZB'ers … accept the challenge!!!

PS. I got enough toilet paper to wipe my buttock cheeks so can not participate.
PPS. Set a low crtieria, obviously looking for someone to buy 18 years worth of toilet paper …

  • Coles / Woolworths branded 3ply paper is cheaper at 19c per 100 sheets. Do people think Quilton is better?

    • Personally I prefer this (this range only as I tried the double length and they are not as good) over Coles branded paper.

  • Darn. I just bought the 20pack last week

  • I have tried these, not too bad. 3ply. $7 for 24pack

    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/emporia-3-ply-toilet-tissue-…

  • What's the current best deal on toilet rolls like $ per roll because this seems like still a lot.

Gonna bulk order a few to last us a few years.
