WWWHHHHYYYYYY do all the cheap Mechs do BLUE switches.

    BROWN!

    • Blue is the best.
      Honestly

      • How so?
All mechanical keyboards are clicky thanks to keys bottoming out.
The 'ridge' is important, hence why I like Brown.
And blues are 'loud' so you can't use one in the office.

What pros do blues have over Browns?

        • I've used both and it comes to preferences, but I think Blues are good for those new to mechanical keyboards as the audible click whilst annoying, helps train the user not to bottom out.

Browns are good in the sense the tactility and feel is there, but the sound is softened.

        • Personally would love a mx white or green keyboard.
          I’m heavy handed.

        • @tuzii: Cherry Clears would be your best friend. Check out the latest Ducky from PCCG.

        • @potplanty:
          I need clicky

    • Looking for quiet keys as well. Waiting for an offer to pop up.

  • The Marvo Scorpion K935 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard looks to be the same as the Kogan RGB mechanical gaming keyboard which was down to $45/$35 with referral discount the other week. I think it's a fantastic keyboard for the price, and has replaced my Logitech 710+ at home. But as everyone said, it's unsuitable for the office due to the noise.
