  • I would reccomend getting the KitchenAid Stand mixer instead for slightly cheaper. They have a free attachment (only one) promotion going on as well. Works out cheaper if you buy from Kogan using the $50 discount code.

Cheaper but from what I understand the KitchenAid's are much less powerful.

100% correct, also KitchenAid has a glass bowl, the last thing you could ever want is a glass bowl. They also have terrible head shake and they're very heavy to lift up the head.

Also the attachments AREN'T dishwasher safe in the KitchenAid. These attachments are 100% dishwasher safe.

I'm actually a baker by trade (Cake Dec/ pastry chef/ baker) I have this machine, it's extremely good!!!! Of course a Hobart machine would be better, but they're around $4000.

I own a KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand mixer. It’s not a glass bowl. The attachments are super easy to clean in seconds and I don’t really need a dishwasher for that. The head is heavy I agree, but in a good way that gives good stability and not like it’s really hard to lift up if you are an adult with any muscle to speak of. I have had mine for months and have never noticed any major headshake at all. I’m pretty sure the KitchenAid stand mixer is much better reviewed that this. And lastly, this may suit people in your trade but to me the bowl on this one was too big for my normal household purposes.

Anyways, everybody is entitled to their opinion.

        • I have an old Kenwood Chef, love it to bits too!
