    7 DAY expiry!??

    • yes, stated in the description…

      • +3

Needs it in title… most prepaid deals are around a month.

    • -1

7 days is useless unless one is a traveller

  • +7

Upvoted before I saw 7 days expiry!! Why is that not in the title?

    • +2

good for testing what the cellular reception is like before signing up to longer plans with Optus?

  • There are actually two other plans you can activate this on, click on the tabs on the page.

  • +2

Remove "Limit 1 Per Customer @ Optus" from title and add "7 Day Expiry" instead!!

    7 day expiry???

  • Thanks OP!

  • +1

I believe it can also be used in 2 other normal prepaid plan:
    - $2/day, expire 30 days
    - 'long expiry', pay as go, expire 45 days.

No bonus with these normal plans, but may be useful if you want to keep the number while waiting for a phone to arrive.

    • That’s exactly right.

    • thanks, i'll include in description

  • bought 3 last week not courier delivered anymore takes about a week to receive.

  • Can I use this for my iPad ?

    • can't see why not… i use to use a phone sim on my Samsung Tab as a phone and gps combination in the car !

  • -4

    it was $2 before

    7-day expiry, I'll pass.

Hmmmm how much data remains after the 7 days?

Can I port my number to this?

  • +1

Waiting for the $5 deal for $30 SIM again.

  • Does anyone know if you can get the 45 day expire with this and have the 10GB data roll over?

    • You won't have the bonus data to rollover if you don't take the 7 day plan.

  • +2

    7 day expiry is crap

I’m glad I forgot to visit Optus today then

  • This doesn't seem valid anymore. I just purchased one, but was charged $10?!

    • Please tell me you didn't actually go through with the purchase, you're a professional remember?

      • I stupidly didn't check the confirmation page before submitting the order. I just called them to cancel my order!

  • can I use this for SIM-hopping, e.g. use this for 7 days, then go to another provider say for 30 days, then go back to this again for 7 days, rinse and repeat?
Is there a limit on how many times I can use this deal per mobile number?

P.S. How do I get it for $3? I clicked the link and it says $10? No offer code mentioned either (?)

    • I think the deal is expired.

      • looks like it eh darn it :(

  • I have seen them at 7-eleven petrol station in Tarneit selling for $3 as well. No limit.

    • but hasn't the deal expired?

      • The online deal has expired. You might find another deal elsewhere.

  • Does Optus do carrier billing on prepaid? That's an easy way to get $10 of Google Play purchases for $3.
