  • Awesome deal. Wonder if it's the Australian version. You can get it from Bodybuilding.com for the US version with geranium for $30 a unit if you order 6 at a time.

Still, thumbs up for this deal. Jack3d is superior.

    • This is the USA version as stated on the website.

  • sick deal!!! placing my order now!! :)

  • -2

Not too bad, but i did see it on ebay for $40 with free delivery…..

    • +2

But the owner of SuppDirect pays taxes and is a great guy =)

  • Hey mate, when does this deal end?

    • 07/01/2011 (4 days)

  • this is a great deal.
i bought mine for $60 and that was a bargain. It works really well and make me train much harder, also it improves focus a lot!
Just be careful this stuff is very powerful and if you take it and don't burn it off in the gym then you will feel terrible. It provides a shocking come down.

  • great deal, love jack3d!

I don't really get a comedown off it. good for 2 hour workouts. If I don't burn it off in the gym I'm swinging at the fences all the way home and then tear my house apart!

bought some off ebay for $45 a tub, so with the free shaker, hell, I've just placed my order!

  • Umm.. Is it just me or does it not say $49.95?

What are the health issues with a supplement like this? Usually i just stick to whey protein post workout and that's it.

    • you need to type in the code at checkout.
Health issues would differ from person to person. If you are highly susceptible to the effects of caffeine then be careful. If you are a professional athlete then be careful also, this is the product that two RSA rugby players were banned for taking. Some people get a come down, some people get itchy and red. Long term i dont think much research has been done but this is not something that should be taken everyday.

  • +1

I worked out the following: $88.03 USD from Bodybuilding.com for 3x Jack3d various flavours delivered + bonus free gift; SupplementsDirect, can you beat that if I were to buy 3?

    • +2

Sorry I can't and won't compete with a country on the other side of the world. When you make an import from the USA, you don't pay GST (10%) nor do you pay import duties, AQIS fees, customs entry fees, etc, all of which is applicable to Australia businesses, not to mention that GST, higher costs of running a business, higher taxes, higher wages, etc are all applicable here.

Perhaps if my cost price was the same as BB.com then I would be happy to beat it but unfortunately its not the case :(.

      • +2

Thanks for the honest answer - it must be tough as an importer when you compete with these large overseas companies, but when I can get the same products 24% cheaper from BB.com posted, you gotta ask yourself Rep, 'what would YOU do?'

        • +4

No problems. I guess as a consumer it really comes down to a number of things:
          1. Speed of delivery
          2. Service
          3. Whether you want to support an Australian small business or a large USA corporation.

Most of our orders go out via Express Post (depending on size and weight) and we can pack orders made as late as 4:30pm (Melbourne time) to ship out same day and arrive the following day. One of the best turnaround times in the industry. In the rare case that there is an issue with your order (such as damage during transit) its quickly resolved, which will be a lot harder buying from the USA. I am the owner by the way.

Customs and clearance is all taken care of, so you won't experience any sudden hold ups in Customs (which can happen with imports from USA and can delay your shipment for days or even weeks). You have all your consumer rights when dealing with an Australian company but when it comes to O/S companies then you lose all of that. Anyway its your choice at the end of the day but heck this deal is a smashing one as far as Australia is concerned!

        • I also bought the 3x from bb.com but for an Australian store this is great. I'll continue to do so for the time being, though if free shipping were on offer here i would be tempted.

Rep you should get yourself listed on supersupps.com.au price comparison search engine for bb products.

  • Oh so this something like BSN NO-Xplode? That shake worked with me first 2 months then i kinda became immune to it, scary stuff really

still I'll try this thing out

    • +1

Yes Jack3d and NO-Xplode are both pre-workout supplements, however Jack3d blows it out of the water according to myself and most people that have used both.

      • +1

Thanks mate ! Will you be stocking Fruit Punch? I don't know what flavour to pick

        • No-x and Jack3d are different blends. Having used both, no-x gives a more vascular pump (feeling tight in the muscles, increased blood flow, veins popping out etc) - but it doesn't last and when you cycle off its hard to work out. Jack3d has not given me the same hit and provides more of a mental focus. Cycling off Jack3d was not as larger come down as no-x. I used grape Jack3d its alright.

        • Fruit Punch should be coming back in the next couple of weeks. I've sold out of that flavour but theres plenty of other ones to choose from.

  • i made a mistake on my order, I wanted to order 2 but didnt change the quantity and it was too late. Possible to add on another one?

    • +1

Yep just place another order and include in the order comments "To be shipped with order #…." and select "Pickup" as the shipping option and I will take care of the rest!

      • thanks, just paid and written in notes as requested.

    • What is your order number by the way? Orders are getting packed as we speak so I'd like to intercept it before it gets packed and sealed.

      • original order #3414, and the add on order #3427 to #3414.
        thanks

  • Just made an order Thanks for the great prices.

If all goes well I will be a return customer.

Can you by any chance get Scivation Whey protein at a decent price?

    • I'm not currently dealing with the Distributor that sells Scivation whey so no, I won't be stocking that anytime soon.

  • it's appearing as $50 for me.. any chance you can help
    ?

    • You got to type in "OZBARGAIN" in the place where you put in coupon codes to activate the deal.

    • .

  • Store is in Melbourne?

    • Yeah I'm in Melbourne

  • +3

buying supplements from overseas is actually incredibly risky. customs have no idea what they are dealing with when it comes to supplelements and have the right to quarantine and withhold products that they believe may be prohormones/controlled substances.

i have bought supps from overseas in the past and lost out, so i will always buy this stuff from aus. buyer beware!

great deal, and a product i use all the time. + vote from me.

unfortunately i am broke and can't buy haha.

  • This is actually quite a good price if you take into consideration the delivery time compared to BB.com because I've ordered 3 tubs from there and it took probably a bit over a month to receive due to customs delay and also if you decide to go cheap Aus Post on BB.com It will take awhile and there is no way to track it.
So I would recommend buying supps direct and it's also a great supplement to use as a pre-workout to get you pumped full of energy and to get the most out of your workouts I use it personally but don't forget to always give your body a break from it for 4 weeks after using it for 8 weeks just to be on the safe side.

try www.suppz.com - Buy 2 or more USP Labs supplements, and save $2 on each! Code: USPLABS (One-time use) US $25.99 ea ( minus $2 each) plus postage approx $22 - still a bit cheaper to buy overseas

  • Is your website working?
Pressing add to cart, but nothing actually goes into cart.. tried 2 different browsers.
Please fix! I want to purchase :)

    • I just tried, it works fine. Have you selected a flavour? If not you will need to select a flavour before adding to cart. If that fails, then try clearing your browsers cache/cookies

  • Thank you - i am an idiot. I didnt choose a flavour.

  • Question are there actually 2 versions of Jack3d? I have seen it discussed at various web sites and most places in Australia are selling the US version with geranium extract.

    If you want to buy pure geranium visit www.bulknuitrients.com.au GERANIUM EXTRACT 200-1* (1,3-dimethylamylamine ) 120 Capsules x 50mg $29 or 480 Capsules x 50mg $99

Alternatively Bulknuitrient also sell a preworkout product called Pre Workout Powder NT 1kg $69 (97% Amino Acids. 100% Pharmaceutical Grade)which contains caffeine anhydrous and geranium extract, citrulline malate, AAKG, Beta Alanine, create tri malate, flavouring and sucralose. I haven't read any reviews on the product.

(*The usual ASADA/WADA warnings apply to any product containing geranium extract)

    • -1

There used to be another Australian version floating around but I'm not too sure if thats still available. I do however just say that I'm selling the US version as I used to get a few emails asking me whether its the US or AUS version.

While you can make your own pre-workout, it will be hard to find the right ratios that are in Jack3d, plus it would be a much bigger cash outlay to purchase bulk individual ingredients. Granted it might be cheaper in the long run but theres a lot more hassle in making each serve.

  • thanks for clarifying the mistique surrounding different Jack3d products. How can resellers still manage to sell Jack3d in shops for $79? Has the wholesale price dropped through the roof recently?

USP Labs doesnt publish it's ratios of the ingrediants so I understand your comment.

Based what I have read and from others who are using Jack3d, the stuff works (peps up people) and the beta analine is causing tingles in the face for a few of them.

    • +7

Theres a very long story surrounding Jack3d and I won't get into detail about it here but in the past 12 months the price of Jack3d has crashed due to a million and 1 guys thinking they can make a quick buck or 2 by importing Jack3d and selling it on eBay. The wholesale price of Jack3d from the (then) distributor was somewhere high like $75/tub. Due to the eBay people, the distributor pretty much went bankrupt and nobody was distributing Jack3d and more and more people started to import it. From a business owner's perspective it really did ruin the market because we make less and less as the time went on.

Because most of the eBay sellers where small and operating from home, a lot of them illegally avoid tax and don't need to pay GST (since their annual turnover is less than $75k). The ATO doesn't really pursue the little guys as its not worth their time. With more and more eBay guys popping up each week, they were more than happy to bank $4-5/tub as profit which is perfectly fine if you have a full time job and that could net you an extra $20-50/day but for a business its just not viable due to wages, overheads, GST, taxes, and all of that.

While I absolutely am in favour of competition its probably gone a bit too far this time. Businesses simply cannot compete with the at home eBay sellers. This entire thing also creates another problem, online consumers usually disregard business overheads and expenses and now expect all retailers to match or beat the eBay guys. Complaints over a few $ are quite common and price seems to be the only factor that matters to people.

If you see a bargain by all means go for it but if its a few dollars more from an established business that provides a great service then I would suggest that you support them, after all, they are the ones investing a lot of money into running the business and take a lot of risk in doing so.

When we go into Coles, Myer, or fill up the tank at a petrol station we don't complain that its more expensive, so why should this be the case with supplements? I guess at the end of the day, too much competition based purely on price lowers our overall standard of living. If the place you work ends up making less money than previous years, then guess what happens to your Christmas bonus? In bad cases perhaps your boss might go bankrupt and then you are out of a job! Same thing applies if there is too much price squashing in grocery stores like Coles and Safeway and the companies are not making enough money and need to cut back on expenses. Whats the first thing that goes? If you have been following the news then you know that jobs are the first thing to go along with any potential rises in wages.

This post has sort of turned into a rant but I guess this sort of explains how I feel when people kick up a fuss over a few $ difference in price. Especially when even overseas businesses are included in the price wars. You know why they can offer it cheaper? Well look at their standard of living, their unemployment rates, theres no such thing as a minimum wage there, a result of too much price wars and competition which led to expense cutback = employees laid off. Well thats how I see it anyway and you don't have to agree with me. In summary though, wherever you buy your supplements from, if its just a few bucks more, well just pay it.

      • +2

because of ur statement i will buy it and try it , happy to support the locals :)

  • +3

This is a great deal SupplementsDirect and i feel sorry with you having to deal with these people advertising OS retailers on your thread. For Aus stock this is the best price you will see, ever. And to have it the next day is brilliant. I would never buy anything like this from the states, too much time/risk.
    Keep the deals coming!

  • i would also like to see more supplement deals posted on here.

    do you stock ON whey?

    • I have just checked the store and yes, yo do stock it.

would love to see a deal on the 10lb bags of gold standard, and would love to see it become available in cookes and cream, though i understand that may not be possible.

      • -1

It's really tough to offer a great deal on the 10lb bag, due to my flat rate shipping of $10. Sure I can offer everybody who lives in Victoria as P&H costs me around $10 but other states such as WA I can cost me up to $20/bag for shipping. If I put different prices for each state I would imagine there would be a lot of complaints, and even if I put a flat price for all states it would only be like $10 off my listed price which = more complaints as its not really considered a "bargain".

You won't really see super great deals on proteins in Australia, as the price is very much controlled by the Australian distributors (which have an absolute monopoly over protein as nobody but them can import it).

  • Perfect timing I just ran out yesterday so I purchased 4 tubs. =]

  • Thanks for posting, looking forward to any other deals you may have in the future.
One question though, would something liked jack3d be compatible with a fat loss supplement like double-t ketocuts? I'm looking for some help with the fat loss but don't know if its safe to take so many supplements that have caffeine.

    • Ketocuts has 200mg of Caffeine per serving. While I don't know exactly how much caffeine Jack3d has, I'm placing my guess at around ~100mg (I could be wrong). With that in mind, you might get away with using both the Ketocuts and the Jack3d, however you need to limit your Jack3d to only 1 scoop, depending on how your body responds to caffeine, which is different for each individual.

Otherwise you can make a compromise, such as 1 Serving of Ketocuts first thing in the morning, then replace the second dose with Jack3d on the days you workout.

  • +1

Hey just wondering if this is for weights only. Can it also be used for a bike ride, tennis match or even a run?

    Cheers.

    • Yes absolutely. A lot of people use Jack3d before cardio as it gives them extra energy, mental focus, stamina, etc.

      • Thanks, just bought one to try it out.

  • So every online order gets the free shaker automatically? ( also could you tell me if its one of the big shakers? last time a store offered free shakers it was like a tiny 250 ml one

    • Yep its the full size 700-800ml shaker

  • Any chance of pickup for the locals to save on the shipping?

Also any deals forthcoming on the protein? Looking at the optimum whey gold 4.5kg

    • (My bad just saw the similar post above me)

    • Yeah you can choose "Pickup" as the shipping option.

  • Nice one just ordered!

  • Just bought two. Just asked a couple friends about this - while the results were noticeable, both warned of roid rage tendencies with usage.

  • Wow this stuff sounds crazy, I've never heard of this sort of thing before haha

    • -2

You're not missing much IMHO, just another fad supplement product, loaded with stimulants (caffeine) & placebos to give you a rush & false short term boost. Everybody's looking for a shortcut when it comes to their health it seems, a sad indictment on the fitness industry! :(

A few years back the big thing was ephedrine derivatives in supplements coming out of the US; now since customs has cracked down on the import of those, good old caffeine is getting a run again. Yeah, they'll trot out Nitric Oxide blah, blah, pump, blah…but it's all just excuses. You might as well just use Vitamin 'S' if you want a real end-run around doing your workouts!!!

Nothing stopping anyone from training naturally for real fitness! IMHO; Man-up, eat right & train smart, then you'll be at your peak whenever you need your fitness; not just when you have a shot of your 'Proton Energy Pill' juice to give you a false sense of security! :p

Neg away, but have a little think about what you're trying to accomplish with your training whilst you're doing it! ;)

  • Purchased. I need a new Creatine replacement and my shaker is getting old so this is great.

Keep up the good work, will definitely keep an eye on your store.

  • another question sorry - does Jack3d mix well with protein for a pre-workout shake or does it need to be taken by itself?

    • It should mix fine, but why are you taking a protein shake pre-workout?

    • Jack3d should be taken on an empty stomach, so adding protein into the mix wouldn't be a wise choice. If you want to take protein before your workout then I'll suggest taking it 30mins before taking Jack3d. Alternatively purchase some amino acids to add in with Jack3d as there is no conflicting elements.

  • What sort of packaging does this stuff ship in?

    • Depends on where you live and how many you order. If you order one then its wrapped in some foamy protective stuff usually. Ordering 2 or more usually comes in the Jack3d box.

LoL at people wasting their money

I ordred mine yesterday morning and got it this morning. That is some seriously fast shipping. Wouldn't it be nice if all online purchases got delivered this quick.

    • Agreed! I ordered mine around midday yesterday and it arrived before 8:30 this morning. Same state, but still…!

  • +1

Not to completely disagree with SupplementsDirect and i do believe and do buy supps first from local stores if the price difference isnt too great. But i also from time to time place orders from the US on items which are about 5 - 6 times MORE down here than in the US. Sure not paying gst accounts for a possible 10% but lets not forget the US stores also have their own business costs, wages, taxes, fees etc that they have to account for. The reason we get ripped off down here by a lot of supplement stores (not talking about yours perse because i do like your store)is because we can. The Distributors make a killing out of it. There is no way that i am able to order items from the US at their REtail pricing (which would include all the fees and taxes the store has to pay for their product) and then get it shipped over here via aircraft with a courier and then pay customs, gst etc and still get it for so much cheaper at times…? No way.

That is not to say all local stores are involved in the scam or even that it is usually their fault. Its generally the distributors down here who have a monopoly and hence try to use it to their advantage, they pay wholesale pricing for the product, get it shipped in bulk by the container load and sure they have to pay customs and taxes on it when it arrives but so do i. then they mark it up on some instances about 5 - 6 times like i said earlier (not all the time is it scaled up that much though) and then the poor retailers have to make do with that pricing scheme.

Secondly notice how a lot of the australian brands have increased the prices over time so that their versions of similar products compete at the same price point as the Overseas brands? How does that work when they dont have to deal with shipping or customs etc? There is a lot of money in supplements at the moment, its a booming market, hence why there are more and more generic aussie brands popping up left, right and center and yet they must all be making enough profits to survive…why because the marks up are tremendous and hence they dont have to sell as much to keep the brand alive.

Saying all that, things are looking up i believe for the market, due to competition and some stores being their own distributor on certain items etc, i think the prices are evening out a bit better. Even still there are some stores i will completely avoid for their pricing schemes.

  • i can vouch for Arthur @ suppdirect, bought nearly 90% of my supplements from him with no problems…

  • EDIT: how does the new flavour taste in comparison to grape. sweeter?

    • I haven't tried the new flavour, I have so many pre-workouts open right now its not funny. I like to try things before I bring them up for sale.

  • Excellent. Thanks!

  • Down to last tub. Just ordered 6. Usually order from either bb.com or Ebay but I'll give this a try. Cheers SupplementsDirect.

  • Very Quick Delivery to WA will be a repeat customer if prices stay low.

    • +1 Usually when buying supps I put price as priority but I was very surprised when my package turned up today (didn't know aust post delivered on saturdays?). Impressed. Happy to purchase from again at the right price.

They don't. This was part of a special service delivery run by our staff :). Doesn't usually happen but sometimes we like to take the extra effort of surprising a customer by delivering on weekends.

  • received my 3 tubs the day after i paid! Very happy!

keep it up with deals like this! Will deal with again.

  • Ordered Friday, delivered on Saturday LOL

Fastest delivery ever, will buy from again! Thumbs up.
