RRP is $149 on Samsung official page and Telstra shop. Samsung US sells this for $99.

I was going to get 10% discount on Telstra shop today but it was sold out. Luckily I found a better deal instead.

Apparently Samsung has similar discount to Apple student discount.

If you have .edu.au email address you can save
$50.90 when purchasing Dex pad.

Dex pad requires Android Oreo on Galaxy s9,8 and note 8 series.

      USB C to HDMI converter, with a USB port. You plug the USB C end into your "selected Samsung product" and run the HDMI lead to your monitor. The "selected Samsung product" will then go into Dex mode, Hook up a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and you're essentially running a Chrome desktop.

      Only disadvantages with this thing are the phone can get a bit hot, plus you're not charging.

        @stratbargain: Tested and confirmed - looks like it was the Oreo update. It's trying to output but it looks like it's failing some sort of handshake. Damn.
