    Looks slightly cheaper at LITB - US $9.50 shipped, lightning sale on there.

    This is a decent price otherwise, similar to recent deals

    What would be the use case for these? I am yet to embrace the whole automation thing as I have never seen the need. I am happy to be convinced otherwise though.

    I recently got a free Google home mini with the Telstra Pixel 2 XL deal although not sure how much use that is in the whole scheme.

    Someone enlighten me in a simple, easy to follow and understand way. 😃

    These are great, highly recommended. 2 downsides:

    They are too "fat" for a double socket - that is, if you put them in a double or multiple socket you can't plug anything in next to it.
    Secondly, turn off your notifications for the ewelink app unless you periodically want multiple spam notifications in a Chinese script.

      Yeah I got three notifications tonight in Mandarin. Any idea what they say? I assumed it was telling me my devices lost connectivity then regained it or something.

        Not a clue. My devices remained on throughout, so I just turned off the notifications. I got 3 this evening so I assume it was sent to all app users. Happened a few weeks ago too.

    This sonoff is 15c more… it plugs in round the right way (doesnt cover the switch like the one above) and can take temp sensor.
