  • It comes to AU $742.40 with the code

    • Oops typo. Thanks. I was still staring at your comment for a minute trying to figure out why you said that.

      • Haha no worries

I've had to do a warranty service with eGlobal before and it went quite smoothly. I had to pay shipping but they fixed it and sent it back (took about a month? maybe 2 if you count shipping periods). Anyway if you're patient I do recommend them. But if you can get something local for like $100 more it's probably a better bet to do that (Don't think you can though).

That's not dual sim buddy. There's no such thing as dual sim local stock (Australia) release by Samsung; so be careful about sellers claiming to be.

        • The whole point is it's no dual sim. Brnadon was asking if it is possible to pay $100 more to get au stock, so it is possible at $824.

As you said no au stock is dual sim, so the comparable s8+ will not be dual sim

    • I'm not sure that counts as a smooth experience.
They just kept going back and forth with me for close to 2 months, after which I raised a dispute with PayPal to get my money back.

  • "Seller only has 98.5%. "

Just out of curiosity - what is considered a great positive % on eBay if 98.5% isn't deemed good?

      mid-high 99s
Just compared to other sellers who manage to get high 99s

For me, there shouldn't be any reason to have a negative review unless it's a dumb buyer who didn't know what to expect (shipping date, product description) or a scammer. Just need to read in detail what the negative feedback is.

Now that you bring this up, they're worse than some of the other tech sellers because they don't even reply to the majority of neutral / negative feedback.

I'll cut a lot of slack for cheap items like $1 cables or screen protectors etc.

Makes sense, cheers for taking the time to explain

With this, I went and bought a phone myself despite the rating. Most of the phone-related negative feedback was just no-stock / late-shipping which I'm fine with for a $700+ phone.

          I wouldn't be so sure if I saw wrong-model sent / pre-opened box / refurb accusations.
