I think you are a tad late on this one. People have been stacking this with the $20 new user for the last week.

    • And now you can post everything else that haven't been posted and build up your post count.

    • +6

Na I like it. Everybody else has just listed single items, so much easier to have everything on the one list.

      • +1

Agreed - folk should have just posted this deal straight off the bat, and i don't even like cricket.

  • +1

    dupe.

    • Report it and quote original deal.

      • Done

  • +4

Above link has a full list of products on specials as a part of Mothers day promo.

    It links to a kettle.

    • +1

Yup an overpriced kettle is what I get from it too.

    • +1

Did you click the deal link or the link to the kettle that the submitter says they purchased?

    • Better link

      Pretty average choices though.

Who said mothers like cooking and ironing?

    • +3

They don't like it, but have to do it.

    • +9

NO mother needs an iron for mothers day. Trust me. And no, mothers don't HAVE TO iron.

      • Yes indeed Mr. Bond

      • +1

In typical mother fashion, I bought my own presents for the kids to give me - the iron from Amazon (only will be used for work uniforms) + the deep fryer from HN. Both are previous deals on OzB.

    • +1

This looks like something your mum would prefer: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B005GUA3BK

      • +1

        Ahahahaha 'foil cutter'

    • This degree of sexism brings shame to the very name of the mighty Amazons.

    • The mother unwraps the gift and the son uses it to whip up some gourmet food or iron the clothes.

  • +2

This post is much better than the individual post as you can browse through. Plus there are loads of deals that haven't been posted so kudos to the OP

The Tefal Chef's Delight 28cm Frypan ain't bad for $27.52 delivered.

    • Ain't it be $7.52 after the holy 20% discount?

      • +1

Aye no % is $ so if u new then yo $20+ gives yo $7.52 but me no new me old so $27.52 good enuf.

        • Do you have any experience with that fry pan? The one I've been using (some random brand) has raised in the middle over time so the pan isn't flat anymore.

          Is this better?

        • @montorola: No idea. This will deal with induction, which is what i have. There are better Tefal's, esp the Jamie Oliver stainless steel, but they more expensive. Me like 28cm as me like eat lot. My English seems suddenly shot blame @Dhandoftime.

    • +1

Thanks for the suggestion, just purchased one!

      • Yo go with de Building Block? extra $5 no shipping.

        • +2

          Haha not my cuppa tea

    • Thanks, bought one, can never have too many frying pans!

  • Just bought a Tefal steamer and iron. Totally unplanned but the price was hard to resist. Minimal reviews online and the ones I did find were mixed, but I figured it was the price of the cheapest garment steamer from Kmart/Target plus an el cheapo iron, so why not…

    • Can you share the link to those items please ??

      • Might be this one?

        https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B076QCMGW7?ref_=plp_pc_dp_AJOU9…

I am so tempted, I have been looking for a steamer and my iron is a piece of crap that managed to burn through not one but two of my work shirts. And it's so hard to find nice womens shirts =(

        • Yup that's the one.

I'm not expecting the best thing ever but if it's decently functional with no problems I'll be happy. We'll see.

$30 for a leaking kettle?I pefer $9 from bigw at least it will not leak

    • It seems there are a lot of ozbargainers that like Kenwood kettles but I really don't understand why. They look ugly to me. The Tefal Avanti kettle that could be had for $10 with this deal looks much better.

Is it really a post-worthy bargain if I have to click the link and search for the bargains myself?

    • +1

How sodding lazy are you? Do you want the OP to read your mind as to what bargain out of these you want.

      • +2

I only expect a few examples of bargains in the sale, I'm not sure how you arrive at that assumption. Doesn't matter if it's a bargain I like or not, as long as there's at least actually bargains in the sale…

Currently I myself am scrolling through checking if there's any bargains, at this stage it doesn't seem there's any good deals on offer…

        • +1

Then providing individual examples would not have helped you. There are individual examples that other people have posted at various places on Ozbargain the last few days. This is a general link so people can go have a look in one place. If they had posted three examples, and you didn't like any of them, would you have bypassed the deal or would you have still looked in case their tastes didn't match yours? Personally, I think 50% off is enough of an incentive to click on a link and then scroll through the offers.

        • @try2bhelpful:

Individual examples would have helped show that the bargains are quite average if you don't have access to other deals (ie $20 off). Saves readers having to look themselves…

        • @dyl: If you just looked at the examples of the Tefal Cuisine Companion FE800A60 White Cooking food processor and the Cook4Me, they had a few days ago, you would think the deal is quite good, if you look at the cost of the spatulas you would think the deal was quite bad. As you said, there are a lot of options so what you think is good and bad can be a bit subjective. I think the link was a better way of doing this and then letting people do a bit of the leg work themselves. Otherwise the OP spends their time going through the deals looking for what people "might" like. I prefer the OP spends the time finding me another deal and I do my own parsing through what has been provided to see what I like.

Make sure to give your mother a pile of your shirts to iron on mother's day as well, it makes the day extra special.

  • Mother would like a new 65”. C’mon Amazon.

  • +1

It appears from the products on Mother’s Day deal that Amazon thinks mothers belongs to kitchen only

    • +2
